At Brookdale Niagara, you can experience a lifestyle of enriching memory care and one-on-one assistance from passionate dementia-trained caregivers.
Here, you have access to two memory care programs — Clare Bridge and Solace. The Clare Bridge program is an exclusive brand of dementia care, which was established more than 30 years ago. It provides residents with six planned activities each day to promote the use of their current skills, both mentally and physically. Staff members provide consistent care assignments and work in small groups with residents regularly, to promote familiarity and the feeling of “fitting in.”
The Solace program provides additional support to residents in the late stages of dementia. It offers assistance with grooming, and provides an abundance of opportunities to engage in sensory activities involving things like aromatherapy and music.
Regardless of your unique care needs, you can find comfort knowing you will be safe. Staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency. Plus, the community features additional protective measures, including an emergency alert system and keypad entries, as well as large, circular paths designed to lead to areas of activity. To simplify residents’ days, the community offers concierge and postal...

The move in process for Brookdale Niagara was very smooth. The staff asked a lot of questions about my aunt and uncle, their likes and dislikes, food preferences etc. They wanted as much information as possible to ensure that they were providing the best possible experience at Brookdale. The staff are extremely approachable and friendly. Communication with the family is great. I am kept updated on any and all issues that may arise. The accommodation and meals are first class. My aunt, who is quite a picky eater, is thoroughly enjoying the meals. My uncle enjoys the activities, especially the bowling. The move was the best decision I made. They are safe, well fed and cared for. I couldn't imagine them anywhere else. I would recommend Brookdale Niagara to others.

The staff at Brookdale Niagara is exceptionally friendly and very attentive to the residents. Activities are frequent. I feel they could improve their housekeeping slightly. They sometimes pick up dirty clothes or other things but leave the mess that was left behind. I would recommend due to the attention given to each resident and the amount of activities that keep the residents involved. The staff is exceptional.

We are very pleased and impressed with mom's care at Brookdale. I would say that it is a family environment. The residents, nurses, aides, maintenance, kitchen staff and receptionist know who you are and care about you. They are always prompt responses- even give their private phone numbers. We have always been encouraged to ask questions and express concerns.

We had heard of this community but were so happy to see that they were able to help us. It ended up that they had helped two of our neighbors from Lewiston already. Very happy with the care, activities and the incredible food. The care folks are so kind. We all are happy.

After our father passed away we were at a loss as to how to safely care for mom We searched at several facilities to try to find the best place for mom. We decided to go with brookdale niagara dementia care. The kindness mom and the entire family have been shown is remarkable. The communication is exceptional. The admissions director went out of her way to make this as easy as possible. Mom seems happy and is well cared for. She smiles more now and appears to feel very safe. She has gained some weight back and has been participating in the many activities. We chose well. No regrets.

Our family has been extremely pleased with the care of our mom. We visit and have had the chance to get to know the nurses and care givers very well. Good excellent. Good activities. Nothing but positives things to say. All promises have been kept. We were referee by APFM and looked at four communities. Brookdale Niagara was the right fit. Thank you.

I would be careful placing your loved one in this community. I would recommend you ask specific questions about the level of care your loved one will need. You will need to settle on the care with the community, and make sure they will be able to respond to the care need. Due to the poor experience we will be moving my loved one out of the community.

The tour was fine at Brookdale Niagara. It was the location we decided against.
Beautiful community with great care. Suites are private with many living rooms and much space. Activities are top notch. Care is the best. They know the people they serve. Nice feel. Lovely decor. We picked got the great reputation and have been throughly thrilled with the outcome.

Our loved one has only been there for a couple of months and so far all the people we have encountered seem to be very friendly and helpful. They doing quite a good job of keeping us updated with her health, and any updates regarding her medication.

We love Brookdale Niagara. It is a great place. Their overall coordination of their staff from the janitor to the administration are friendly and were willing to make it the best for the family. The activities had musicians come in and sing for the residents and make it appropriate for the age level in the community, kitchen lessons and have it as a snack, they had a dog come in every few weeks, and interact with the residents. They even had a coordinator that did art projects and history to try and remember things. Every once in a while they would have a picnic for the family with the residents. You would make an appointment, and they would provide the food.

They were amazing. My mom was only there for a short period before she passed. She was in memory care and they were very attentive. They really tried to get her engaged and kept me informed every step of the way. Highly recommend this facility! DEBBIE R was wonderful as we moved mom into the facility and was always available. Debi the nurse, Kristy the business manager and Mary Lou the site director were excellent managing the day to day communication and care. Highly recommend!!

Friendly staff, great communication with us about Dad’s care. We have been extremely happy. The Chef is wonderful. Dad is enjoying the food and has made several new friends. All in all, a terrific fit. We are lucky to have Dad at Niagara Alzheimer’s and Dementia care.

A Place for Mom has scored Brookdale Niagara 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
