Staff is kind and friendly. Due to staffing they are not always prompt. Actual NURSING duties (ie NOT AIDES but Nurses)- staff lack expertise/knowledge. I am happy that I am an RN and can overlook some of my mom's issues and advocate for her. Facility itself needs some repairs and they are VERY slow to address those issues.

Staff is great. I like that the facility also has an upward mobility program where they work with their staff to obtain higher levels of certification. The senior nurses are really sharp and on top of issues. The senior management went above and beyond helping us move my aunt from California to Washington. The evaluations went smoothly because of their involvement.

At the risk of being cliché, it does feel like family. The staff is very caring and gives personal attention to the residents. The facility itself is older, not shiny and new like some of the other nearby places, but it's clean and comfortable, and there are a lot of windows and natural daylight. The location is very nice, amidst trees, and I think the views are lovely and calming.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo and everything has been mostly great so far. The cleaning staff was informed that my loved one had moved in, but they didn't clean my loved one's area for a month. There was also a long wait time to get my loved one's TV hooked up. However, my loved one is getting to know people and is making friends. I think she likes it here.

We toured Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo and it was a great tour. The staff were fantastic. However, the common grounds seemed dated. We decided to continue our search.

I toured several facilities in the area, including Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo. I found my tour of this facility to be least useful. It was not impressive when they changed personnel. I visited this facility twice and the person in charge of Marketing had changed between visits. I did not care for this facility, just my general impression. The layout was not something that I liked.

I have had to keep Visiting Angels in 2-3x week and between the 2, the cost is ridiculous. Someone should go into the "Driving Ms Daisy" business...they'd make a mint!

Overall it's a decent place. It's clean. They're taking the best care of my loved one that they can. I do have to keep at it - you have to let them know you're there and that you care. Like all places right now, I think they just need more people on staff. I think the price is reasonable compared to other places I looked into.

I toured with Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo and I really liked this facility a lot. It was super nice but also the most expensive out of all of the places that we toured. I also found it weird when we toured that we did not see anybody out and about...it was very quiet and there was no activity what so ever. My mother in law loved it because of how quiet it was, but my dad is someone who needs that socialization. They may very well have activities going on, we just did not see it when we were there.

The facility was nice and the price was comparable to others in the area that we saw, it was our second choice. When we were walking around it kind of reminded me of a daycare- they had baby dolls out for the memory care residents and things like that and I knew my mom would not like that. The location was also just too far.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale Montclair Poulsbo. The facility was very nice but it was older and not as updated as some of the others that we were looking at.
I would suggest Brookdale Montclair, as this is the best community in the area. They are safe, clean, and the staff are engaging and these qualities all stand out to me. The money was well spent with my loved one being here. The staff were available, and ready to answer questions or speak about any concerns the family had. The food was good for my loved one with good variety and portion sizes. Brookdale was able to assist with medication management for my loved one.

The staff at Brookdale Montclair are very kind. One of the key features for us was the location, it is very convenient for our family, and they also have Medicaid beds. We would recommend this community to other families.

We chose Brookdale Montclair because we are familiar with the chain and my mom has some friends that know about it as well and it came highly recommended. The room sizes are quite variable at this location, but she has a nice and roomy apartment. Overall I would recommend them.

The staff and living arrangements are amazing at Brookdale Montclair. I am so comforted knowing that my Mom is watched over so carefully. The staff is very friendly and interactive. I love the activities that they have and the grounds are very conducive for walking and exercise. The sticker shock is always there but I feel the value of the services and the community they are offering. My ONLY complaint is the technology at the building in Poulsbo. The cable service is very antiquated and my Mom cannot watch a lot of the shows she likes without going through her computer, which is confusing to her. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for Brookdale Montclair, the staff and the community they have created! Thank you!
