Brookdale Mariana Butte

Our experience has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They took the extra time to make sure my mom adjusted from independent living to assisted. The staff always contacts me if they have any concerns about my moms health .

Our family's recent experience. Nice environment and community. Management staff is new so a lot of miscommunication. Would recommend but again need to know what questions to ask regarding extra charges.

Memory care was available there if we needed it, she was diagnosed with early onset dementia. I would recommend them.

Much of the leadership at MB left this spring. I have had no contact with the new ED. The new nurse is pleasant and helpful. Day to day caregivers are great. Typical of entry level staff they do turn over fairly regularly. But there is a strong base. They are caring and attentive.

The directors personality won us over and when we did the tour, she knew residents names and personal details as we walked through.

My greatest complaint about Brookdale Mariana Butte is in regards to their communication (or lack thereof)! They hold a "Zoom" meeting one day per month and if the 6:00 meeting doesn't work for your schedule you have no other communication. Additionally when you reach out for information and request copies of Personal Care charges, they acknowledge receipt of the request but there is no copy forthcoming. The ALF is the most expensive facility we looked at so I sometimes worry how bad the others might be. Peace of mind is knowing my mother's medications are given in proper dosages and on time and I know if she falls or has any other medical emergency, the caregivers will respond appropriately. The peace of mind is priceless.

They sold us on everything but delivered nothing. I would not recommend brookdale at all my mom was there 6 days when we took her out she did not eat or have water for 3 days.

The best thing about Brookdale Mariana Bute was the lovely apartments and friendly staff. The complaints we had were that we paid extra for med distribution but they struggled to get the timing right. Also, Mom was there only a short time but auto payments kept being deducted even though she was no longer there.

Everything seems great. My dad seems bored. I don't think there's anything that can be done. Dad just wanted it over with. So the first place he went to he picked.

I would recommend to others. I picked this community because of the overall atmosphere of the community, along with the staff.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is very good, and there are lots of options on what to eat. They take very good care of our father and have his best interest at heart.

We have experienced wonderful help from all levels to make this difficult transition happen. Our family is aware of many challenges our resident has put on the staff there. We are grateful, beyond words, for every kind care shown to her since this is her permanent home now.

I am an outside vendor from [name removed] care services. I had a chance to meet with [name removed] over coffee last week and discuss the additional services my company can provide to Brookdale residents. During our visit, [name removed] showed me around the facility and we had a chance to observe some activities the residents were participating in. The staff was so friendly and very involved with the residents experiences at Brookdale Mariana Butte. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

I have my mom here and the staff here is so sweet and endearing. They take the time to spend extra time with residents that are new or just need some extra TLC. The staff really does go above and beyond to help any way that they can. The facility is clean and they are constantly working on ways to give it a fresh look. Mom really enjoys having activities available for times that she doesn't want to be in a larger group. They make moms nails look beautiful so that I don't have to take her out to get them done. And lets not forget how much fun the residents have getting to play bingo on Sundays (I've observed this several Sundays). Love their activities gal on the weekends.

The communication from the executive director and from the business office are extremely poor and billing needs major help! Food has been up and down. Lots of complaints and then recently it has gotten "better" but probably not what would be expected at the price charged. Activities have been split. There is a gal who is part-time (evenings and weekends) who is awesome!! My loved one loves her. Daytime activities have been lacking since staffing issues have led to no full-time activities director on staff and therefore no weekday activities for the last month. Transportation has also been terrible. The maintenance guy is the driver, so his chores clearly can't be accomplished if he's driving also.

Community is nestled in beautiful Mariana Butte neighborhood. It feels like home when you walk in and meet the friendly staff and well lit rooms. Rooms are larger than other Assisted Living communities I have toured. Activities for residents abound and food is delicious.

[name removed] is so helpful and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the challenges families face in making decisions for assisted living. The community was warm and inviting with many residents enjoying live guitar music/singing in the common area.

I like the security here and I feel safe. I like playing bingo and enjoy all of the musicans that come.
