I would N E V E R refer New Mercer Commons to anyone. In one word: horrible. Although most of the care providers are wonderful, they are grossly understaffed, overworked and underpaid. The administrator and social worker were pompous and uncaring, and most concerned with CYAing than caring for my loved one. They actually fabricated narratives to justify their reasons for their actions. Also, [Removed] has their own profit centers for everything (pharmacy, equipment, PT/OT,...) and will squeeze all the money they can out of the residents and Medicare for unneeded services. I hate to think of residents who don't have an active advocate because this place with chew them up and spit them out.

We toured this location while looking into options for my Mom, and while it was a nice looking community the rooms would have been too small for the things that Mom wanted to bring with her.
