[name removed] was at assisted-living for about three days. He then wandered off and kind of got lost. So they had me use helping hearts at home or helping hands at home. I don't remember what your name was so that they could babysit him over the weekend and then they moved him to the skilled nursing facility. he was there for about 1011 days and he decided to get out and wander again only this time he was out on the highway. So they got him into Brookdale Englewood and the memory care center. So the time at Brookdale Greenwood Village assisted living was totally totally Minimal. But I so appreciate everything they did for him. I would definitely recommend anybody to check them out.... Read more

I find everyone very nice and helpful. It is a comfortable laid back feeling. Easy going people, good food and fun activities. The meals are served promptly and are tasty, hot and healthy. Snacks are always available. I moved to Brookdale from another community that I did not like and I am very happy that I made that decision.

My father was sent to Brookdale Greenwood Village after a stay in the hospital. I spent ten days at Brookdale with my father ranging 8-24 hours a day. The staff consisting of CNAs, nurses, doctors, PT, OT, administrators, cleaners, and cooks were all very kind and compassionate people. They treated my father with dignity and respect. This review is for Brookdale GV Skilled Nursing Facility, part of Brookdale Greenwood Village. My dad was taken here to rehab after 2 weeks in the hospital so he can regain his balance & get therapy to help him live independently again. I was assured he would be well cared for. He was brought to his room from the wheelchair transport & managed to fall within 90 minutes of arriving as he tried to go to the bathroom on his own. While I do not blame BGV, it appears that the staff was not given details on my dad's condition nor my information to contact as his MD POA. Coming from the hospital he was designated an extreme fall risk. Had my husband not been nearby, I am not sure I would have known this fall occurred. He said there were NO fall mats anywhere to be seen in his room. I have tried to call the facility to check on my dad at least a dozen times in the last 5 hours and no answer at any extension. NOT ACCEPTABLE

This was not a good fit for my loved one.
They thought he was a flight risk, so they put him in memory care during his time here. When we went to visit him, we had to ring a doorbell to get in. Sometimes it would be 15 minutes waiting to be let in the memory care unit. When it was time to leave, we couldn't find anyone to let us out. So, we would have to go and find a staff member to let us out. This happened every time we went to visit him. I would definitely not recommend Brookdale Greenwood Village. My loved one was there for less than a week and we removed him. They charged us for a whole month. He was eating in his room. He did not ever leave his room the whole time. He definitely was not a flight risk. It was a very unprofessional experience.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was nice, they were very accommodating. However we just were not as impressed with the room and not quite what we were looking for.
Our experience was great up until the end which is why we rated them so slow. We felt the staff members took full advantage of the covid pandemic to move our loved one into a different room that had a higher monthly rate. We did not feel that took her best interest in mind and cared for her well being. When we moved our loved one out the management got really shady and spoke with other facilities about our loved ones medical/health history that was not try. We thought it was disturbing and garbage.

We chose Brookdale Greenwood Village because the facility offered larger nicer rooms than we had seen elsewhere, the activities director was engaging and wanted to get my mom out and about, and the location was convenient. I do think they could improve on the food quality, quantity, and variety.

My Grandma was physically abused by a OT here and of course the OT was backed up by the other staff that witnessed the abuse. The OT even after being told to stay away from my Grandma went into her room and verbally abused her still with no consequences even after admitting she went into my Grandmas room after being told not to. If you hate your Grandparents and parents go ahead and put them in here.

My Mother died there. I never got a condolence card, not even a survey. It's all about the money and once they are gone they don't care. Lots of staff turnover. Horrible staffing on the weekends. Don't even think about hospice.

We toured this community and it was a nice place. The community appeared clean well maintained. The staff seemed to be friendly and kind their attitude was positive and professional. We didn't come across any residents during the tour so I couldn't ask them how they liked living there.

I had helpful and friendly people giving me a tour and giving me useful resources. I felt they were fantastic people to work with. They were willing and always offering to help me find a good fit for my parents. It did not feel like a sales experience. I discovered that all the Brookdale properties provide different levels of care but they can direct you to the best fit for your needs.

Overall things are going well. My mother is just having a difficult time adjusting.The staff is very approachable and helpful. Everyone has patience with my mother during this adjustment period. They have activities but my mother chooses not to participate. The food is fresh but I've been disappointed in the equality and they repeat menu items a bit. Every time I visit it's clean and the staff is friendly.
