I am very happy with Brookdale East Arbor. The staff are always very eager to help and they are easy to work with. If you have any type of emergency situation they will help you out. Our family had an in person tour and we thought the experience was just okay, it was not the best first impression and therefore not the place for our loved one.

Brookdale did a care assessment with a skilled rehab that my loved one was in, and the fees were reasonable for us. However, the first month fees were much higher that the family expected, and then the family was told that the director made a mistake on the pricing. An aide called me to tell me that my loved one had to be hospitalized. I wish the community would have had a nurse call me with the details. From this point forward the experience kept going down hill with my loved one and family. Medications were messed up and missed for my loved one during their stay here, and this caused a fatal error. I feel like they took time away from my loved one. We had a poor experience with the lead med tech, we are still getting bills from the community, and more with this community. I felt like I was always putting out fires when I would visit my loved one, instead of visiting my loved one. The head nurse was never there and the management were very unprofessional towards our family and my loved one during the stay. The lead med tech questioned the family's decision to place our loved one on Morphine and let nature take its course. The family was strong armed into using a specific hospice that we later found out the community was getting kick backs from. The director left without any notice to the families or residents.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience. The lady who led us on the tour introduced us to other staff and residents and was really informative. It seemed like a wonderful community, but the staff to resident ratio was just not suitable for our loved ones needs. As nice as it was we really needed a place that had around the clock care.

We chose Brookdale East Arbor because they were recommended to us by a previous facility. The food looks good and they are accommodating. They have plenty of activities available. She is handicap and they accommodate her very well. They have so many amenities offered such as a hair salon, nail salon, a pediatrist, dentist, doctors that come on site, etc. She is happy I would recommend that people check them out. They have been great with communication.

I did not get a good general feeling from our tour with Brookdale. Also, when I went to use the restroom there was poop all over the seat.
I don't want to live anywhere else! We're treated as individuals and feel special - the staff calls us by name and makes the effort to connect with us. The food is the best, much better than I expected. The kitchen staff considers our needs and our desires. We don't even have to ask, they remember! The atmosphere is lovely. The new décor is a classy look. The only reason I didn't vie 5 stars is I don't believe anything is perfect.
Most anything we need is right here. The food is way better than any restaurant around. I've watched the growth within our community and we continue to progress and go up. It's all about connection with one another, a heart-to-heart connection.
The people here are very nice - I'd rate it an 8.5!
My sister found this community - it works for me. The location is nice - the food is great. The cook and servers take pride in what they do. It's a friendly atmosphere. Staff makes every effort to keep everyone happy and safe, and the operation smooth running. I can't think of anything I would want to change.
I love it here, it's remarkable! It's peaceful; I'm very happy at our community. 5/5 stars wouldn't be high, I'd give it a 10!
Brookdale East Arbor is safe and comfortable for residents in the in between stage of Assisted living and some memory issues. COVID free throughout the pandemic, they followed cdc guidelines while continuing to provide residents with a positive, fun experience. Electric scooter, pet and outdoor smoking is permitted. Well done Brookdale East Arbor.

We chose Brookdale East Arbor because it was a locked and secure facility and we were urgent about finding a place quickly since she was just starting to roam around. The room sizes here were just fine. I was not impressed with the food quality at all, it was more commercial rather than fresh made foods. My mother had to go to an acute care facility from here because they had screwed up her medications. Overall, I would not recommend.

They have been great to set up weekly zoom visits and it ha been really nice. My mom says they take good care of her there. My mom doesn't really like the food,it is nutritious just not homemade. We chose this community over others for her because it seemed to be the best fit. They have worship services, activities, an outside garden, and the apartments seem to be just the right size.

The staff is great they always communicate with me in regards to my father. Sometimes he has rough days and they always try to help out to refocus him and keep him calm. He is still trying to adjust to the change he's only been there a month and I know it takes time. It's a hard situation to have someone you love with Alzheimer's and Dementia but they have made the road much smoother

Brookdale East Arbor has been a great community so far. [Removed], the director, was very helpful when we took our initial tour. The staff is great. They seem to treat the residents with a lot of respect, but I do wish they pushed my loved one more to participate in activities and be less sedentary. I really like the size of the community, and I think they strike a good, happy medium between assisted living and memory care levels. I also like that they have a snowbird program for loved ones and family members living in sister communities in colder climates, so they can come visit a warmer climate during the winter. Overall, I think this community is great and definitely worth a look.
