Brookdale Conway

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Ever. We picked this community because of the location.

Overall, I think the staff at Brookdale Conway is amazing. They were always so helpful and understanding.

What we like the most about Brookdale Conway is that they are very good too my mother, and I would recommend them to others.

What our family likes most about the Brookdale Conway community is the entire working staff. The staff team has been very helpful and friendly during our experience. Our loved ones is happy with the meals and dining as well as the activities.

Brookdale and the staff are very friendly. It's a bright and social environment. The staff was extremely helpful from Day 1. I would highly recommend to everyone. [names removed] are very informative and caring people. It has been a pleasure working with them.

I had a friend recommend this community to me and I would also recommend the community to others. Whenever we have questions or concerns they staff always listens and shows that they care. When activities are going on, they always try to include my loved one.

We had a wonderful experience with Brookdale Conway. I was always bringing something for my husband that he needed from home and the maintenance person would meet me at the door and would carry it to his room for me. This happened in the first day and continued throughout his stay. They loaned us a tv when ours did not arrive (no charge) and were very kind to my husband. Every member of the staff has a good attitude towards the patient and never ceased to amaze us in helping us with whatever matter arose.

We chose Brookdale Conway because they offered a 2 person assist which is what we needed at the time. The room sizes here are pretty good, my mom had a studio apartment and had plenty of room for her things. Overall it was a pretty good experience for our family.

The staff was very skilled. They seemed to be attentive, towards my loved one. Sometimes they were short staffed. I really liked the people. My loved one was not too crazy about the food but on a positive note, made new friends. I would definitely send them back if I had to, or even go there myself, if I had to.

We chose Brookdale Conway because it is a smaller facility and did not feel institutional. They only have about 30-40 residents so it is much more of a personalized experience for your loved one. She has a studio apartment and it is a good size. Their staff are very well trained on dementia care. They really try to keep the residents very active. They have physical therapy on site and it is amazing, my mother in law absolutely loves it. Staff always call when they need something and have been great with communication. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

We chose Brookdale Conways because it is close to my grandfathers significant other, so the location was good and it was also recommended to us. The room sizes at the facility are pretty standard to others we have seen. I know they try to work with the residents to get suggestions on the food, but my grandfather says the quality of the food is not always great. The administrator is very on top of things and is great with communication, they run a good ship. I would recommend to other families.

The staff here are knowledgeable and seem to really care but they are overstretched. They are understaffed, I never got a phone call back once in time that she was here which was very frustrating. The under-staffing was the biggest issue. I do really like the facility, but they do need more help. The meals were nutritional and balanced, but the snacks were junk food and you are unable to give your loved one your own healthy snacks. The residents who are here do seem to be happy.

Brookdale is a wonderful place to live as long as you do not have a memory situation. The help is fantastic and the food is so-so. They need a lot of improvement when it comes to your choice of food for each meal. They advertise that they are a home for adult living with assisted living and memory care. The memory care needs to be removed from their advertisement. As far as I am concerned they let my friend down when it came to his memory care. There were no activities he could be involved with because he did not understand what he was to do. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The nursing staff and aides are the best I could have asked for. However, those in charge need to smile a little more, get out of their offices, and see what is going on around them.

Shows very nice. But patient care ,if you have a mom with Dementia the aides do not have the experience to deal with them. If your mom has an allergy to food the aides don't watch what she eats or drinks or care. Also they don't supply lactose free products. They have left my mom in the dining room sitting at a table that was cleared ,sleeping. Breakfast is at 8 am and she was sitting there at 1045 when everyone else was out of the dinning Room. I happened to stop to drop off something when I saw her.The price keeps going up and the care down. I believe there is not enough staff especially on the weekend. Staff also changes often. Laundry is not washed and dried properly. They shrink everything. Also articles of clothing get misplaced all the time. I am looking for another place but it is hard to move her now. Don't bring anyone here with demetia.
