Brookdale Club Hill

I would recommend to others. I was initially attracted to this community because of the price at the time.

I would recommend. I picked them because they had a two bed /two bath option. I would tell a friend to tour the facility.

I have been a resident for eight months and I love my new home. Staff is professional and genuinely is interested in caring for us. Our is filled with activities with activities to keep us engaged and entertained. We enjoy card games, exercise glasses, art and crafts, trips to ballgames, state fair and even a cruise. I’ve lived in other facilities and I’m very happy my daughter found Brookdale club Hill. The food is good most of the time but you can’t please everyone.

I like that the facility haves group activities and the management and employees is the best ?? . I feel at home here in the facility I love that the facility haves cruise each year to take out the residents and explore. The decoration for holidays is out going

We have been here for three years. Sadly, there are a couple of Residents determined to be unhappy - and complain ad nauseum! That's their problem! We still love our apartment, and if we have any problems someone from Maintenance arrives within the hour - You get the feeling EVERYONE wants you to be comfortable. Our Concierge personnel are amazing! Doing so much for so many Residents boggles the mind. We can be as active and involved as we like, and are encouraged to take part in so many different things. Concerts, parties, day and overnight trips, a huge variety of crafts - our Activities personnel go above and beyond every single day. They also provide transportation locally for a nominal price. The food is like everywhere - we have our favorites and some things we don't enjoy. Overall, the cuisine is excellent - they try hard to please us - WaitStaff, fresh napkins and tablecloths are great. We're very happy living here. .

If you are looking for active independent living this is a great place. My 96 year old dad was evaluated at the rehab facility to be in assisted living. He needed more skilled care nursing than what was available - unless we paid an additional fee that was outside of our budget. He was at the end of his life and we just wanted him kept comfortable. The staff are very caring from everyone in food service up to the directors. We had 24 hour phone numbers available by some of the staff. Again the nursing staff are very caring. If your loved one needs more skilled care nursing, this may not be the place for them. Assisted living but still want to eat in the dining room, it’s a really nice place and they make it look like a restaurant with cloth napkins and tablecloths, and decorations.

Services offered to settle in never provided Dinning and service in dining has declined from good to none. As in no meat or fresh fruit available at Sunday brunch where guest fees are $28. All in just 4 months, regardless of menu chats and such with management Property maintenance are cause for concern regarding health, Black debris falling from air vents in dining room. Air filter in apartment had to be chipped out. The health department shut the kitchen down last month. Housekeeping has been not provided more than provided. Towels and linens lost. Laundry machines, elevators, AC systems outages.

Be aware : I was never made aware or even knew what this was, but the highest level of care is Asst'd Living - A. I was constantly thinking they must be short-staffed., but no, they just never intended for there to be more staff than 3 in day for the big 3 story bldg. At night, was 1-2. They dot answer the phone; all messages go to a voice mail which I never knew them to respond to in the 7 yrs she was there. I can imagine bc there really is no TIME. To return calls w such little staff available. Also, they just keep adding more and more charges to your monthly bill w out discussing or explaining. By time we left she was bring charged 3 times as much money. She we running out of money. Now she is charged $[fee removed] less per month an ALL services are included. No gradual adding on extra charges for this and that. I would not recommend Brookdale Club Hill.

It's beautiful. They keep it looking so nice. The parking was horrendous. There are not enough spaces for the residents. I was unable to eat the food. Need more options Very few things that I liked. Brookdale is nice but way way too expensive. If I could afford it I would still be there.

All of the categories that are listed have contributed to the great experience our family has had with Brookdale Club Hill . And it was enough of all those things that we moved to a part of town away from mother's established life.

The staff is very friendly. It is excellent value. I would highly recommend this place.

My mom moved into Brookdale Club Hill a few months ago. I can not say enough good things about this place. The staff are beyond friendly, helpful and accessible. Residents who have lived there over 10 years still love the place and are friendly and welcome new residents. The grounds are beautiful, full of trees, water features, bridges, fish ponds, gazebo, pool, and patios. One of the things my mom loved the best is that all apartments have their own patios to sit outside or have their own flower pots. The dining room is great. The food is excellent. I visit my mom once or twice a week and eat lunch with her and am constantly impressed with the variety and quality of food. My mom has Parkinson’s and has shaking hands. So they will cut her meat for her when needed. The game room has been great when our extended family wants to visit her. There is a pool table, shuffle board table, poker table and more. My mom really enjoys the various activities and musicians come play every week.

A 5 on all of these. Brookdale is beyond amazing!! For the first time in years, I don't feel alone in taking care of my mom. The manager [name removed] cares about each of the residents. [name removed], the activity director is beyond amazing at his job and everything that he plans for the residents. [name removed] and the other staff are incredible. I can't say anything negative about Brookdale. I will be forever grateful for. A Place for Mom and Brookdale for changing the relationship I now have with my mom. I no longer visit her and do things for her because I feel obligated, I do it now because I want too.

If I get old I would be fine moving to Brookdale club hill. You will not find a more caring group of people. The staff would be hard to replace. Room sizes and amenities offered are good for the cost of the facility. I would say we have made some friends in the staff.

My mother moved in last year and I feel that she is in a great place! They were so kind and helpful when we had to move my mother to a smaller apartment after my sister passed away suddenly. The staff is very nice and very kind to the residents . I would however like to see them have the tree's trimmed as there are a lot of dead falling branches that are a safety concern. Also the kitchen could do a better job of keeping popular items such as tea and bread and milk stocked. It seems they are are always out of something! But the bottom line is I don't think we could have found a better place for the price !!!

Lacking employees don't seem to know much it's 5 out of 10.

There was a recent increase in rent, but food or anything else has not improved. I'm not completely satisfied with the cost and the food.

My mom is a resident at Brookdale Club Hill. She really likes her apartment. I would recommend them to others.

My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Club Hill. The facility is spacious and much to do. The staff is great, however there are some staff shortages. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Club Hill to others.
