Brookdale Central Paradise Valley

It is probably too early to know for sure since my mom has only been there a little over a month, but the facility appears very understaffed. You have to be buzzed in & out as a visitor, & there are times we’ve waited over 10 minutes just to get in or out. They have said it’s because they’re tending to residents in their rooms. There is a common tv area where residents often sit (sometimes up to 10 people) that’s right by the entrance. I find it a little disturbing that these residents are left sitting there with no staff supervision for over 10 minutes. We are paying over $[removed] per month & I feel like the level of care should be higher.

My parents are 89 and 91. They relocated to Phoenix last December to be closer to their children since they had more frequent doctors visits and procedures. The started in a three bedroom rental that was too big and no age appropriate neighbors. Dad took a fall and was in the hospital for a couple of days and we decided that they needed assisted living for age appropriate friends and someone on the po if they had an issue. After touring five other properties Brookdale met their wants and needs. As their oldest child I have been satisfied with my parents living arrangements.

I have been a resident here since April 2022. My son first toured here while I was in rehab. His exciting comment was "mom, this is just the place for you. It fits you to a T" First its friendly. Both residents and staff. Second they have great caring staff. Third, So many activities. Fourth they take great care of us.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My grandma found roaches in her apartment and they didn’t do anything for the longest time. Way over priced for the garbage service they provided never again will any of my family or friends go here. Boooo

Facility is not what they sell. Only have two caregivers for assisted living… they try to justify their staffing on a point system. Caregivers are overworked and underpaid. The only good thing about this place is the friendly people.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Central Paradise Valley and the overall experience was okay. Overall, Brookdale was fair to middling and I probably would not recommend the facility to others.

The staff at Brookdale Memory Care are compassionate caregivers. They attend to my mom's comfort and safety. It was a difficult transition for our family after our dad passed Knowing that our mom is in the best hands gives us so much peace

My mother has been in this Memory Care for over 3 years. The staff is so loving toward her. It is her second family! Great activities engage her and the other residents, I would highly recommend Brookdale CPV Memory Care.

Brookdale has surpassed my expectations! Staff members are knowledgeable, gentle, patient, and very much involved in the day-to-day care and experiments of the members of the memory care unit. There are many and varied actions. 7 days a week to promote optimal physical and mental stimulation.

I am happy that I chose to live here. The staff works very hard to make each of us to feel special. Most of the meals in the dining room are ok but some meats are tough. And the fruit cup usually has unripened fruit. Which I can overlook.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Central Paradise Valley. The facility seems to care and wants to do it right. It did have some hiccups to start, but they were resolved. Based on our experience, I would recommend Brookdale Central Paradise Valley to others as an option for Assisted Living care.

The help is very good and excellent. There are plenty of activites suitable for everyone, who is always friendly.

This place is a wonderful refuge from loneliness. I think its a comfortable domicile - giving a person freedom and a sense of belonging. The staff understands the special needs of seniors

After looking at several facilities Brookdale Central Paradise Valley has the best atmosphere. It feels comfortable, accessible and friendly! The room sizes here as well as the amenities that are offered to the residents are better than any of the other places that we looked at. I would and already have recommend Brookdale Central to others!
