Brookdale Burlington

I had to place Dad quickly and Brookdale felt the most like home. They were very friendly and caring and willing to work with me once Dad passed. He enjoyed his time there getting to know some of the residents and feeing like home. Highly recommend.

We've enjoyed visiting and getting to know everyone. We are please with the help and others living seem pleased as well! Best of all Memaw seems content.Thankyou for making this a great experience for us and our Memaw.

My mom has only been at Brookdale Burlington for a few weeks, but so far we are satisfied with everything about it. The atmosphere is very nice, and though I was worried about it being on a busy road, her room is quiet and there's no traffic noise that I've noticed. The staff is friendly and appears to go above and beyond in making sure residents are comfortable and have what they need. I like the facility floor plan, which includes a library, salon, and large gathering room for board games, jigsaw puzzles, and family meals. While we're still getting acquainted with the people and services offered, we have been pleased with the level of care, quality of physical therapy, and responsiveness to requests and questions.

My wife and I enjoy the meals. We dine with another couple that we have very many things in common with. We’ve built a really good friendship with them and some other residents in the community. We enjoy our apartment at spacious and home like.

Staff are so incredibly kind and helpful to residents and guests. Everyone I spoke to seemed very happy and the residents were obviously extremely happy and kind to us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The food is good for me and I just like it over here very well. It’s my home away from home. I like the crafts, like painting, but I didn’t stay in the lines very well. I like to sit on the front porch in my favorite chair. I enjoyed doing bingo and other activities, including family night.

Me and my husband love it here. We have made many friends here. The care I get is excellent!! I am pleased with the transportation. I love the staff and managers they are like family. We are very pleased here!!!

For the most part we are satisfied with my father’s care at Brookdale. Most of the staff is friendly and shows genuine concern for its residents. There have been a few issues that were immediately addressed when brought to the attention of administration. [name removed], the campus sales manager is wonderful! She is always open to helping even when it doesn’t pertain to her title. It is refreshing when you can’t locate a staff member to know she is ready and willing to be the liaison. Brookdale is an acceptable senior living facility for my dad. My only qualm is that there is no front desk receptionist or supervisors available on weekends. Answering the phone is next to never and I wish the state would budget more money to put these employees in place so residents are not at risk with such a skeletal crew.

My dad is 99 years old, soon to be 100 and had been living alone (the way he wanted) since my mom passed away 8 years ago, He had gotten to the point he was going to need some help with a daily routine. So we started to the process of getting him healthy and more mobile. After a hospital stay and rehab facility, we started looking at a few places we knew something about. Brookdale Burlington was top of the list due to a really good friend of my wife was a resident a couple years ago, and she really loved her stay there. My wife was impressed every time she visited her friend. So we started having conversation with [name removed], their Admissions Director, and she was so welcoming and informative, ready to help meet our needs. My brother and I set an appointment to tour the facility and were impressed with the thoroughness of the presentation and how welcoming the entire staff made us feel. Needless to say, my dad settled in there and he and my family couldn’t be more pleased.

My mother has been a resident at Brookdale Burlington for close to three years now. She participates in many of the helpful activities that are offered at this facility, and she enjoys the transportation service. The facility is clean, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is better than average. The room and room services are excellent.

It's very clean. The food is really good have eaten here a couple of times. Mom seems to be on her own a lot and with her mobility issues and hearing loss she feels a little isolated. She is also away from most activities. She's not a big social person. She says everyone is nice to her. There are a couple that I see often on 1 and second shift that are outstanding in their care and taking time with her and making her smile. I didn't meet her Dr. for a while and was kind of at a loss as to what was going on with her. She has had some physical therapy. But at 100 and what is wrong there isn't much they can do. I just felt uninformed for a while but am feeling better about things now.

My Aunt is a resident here and loves it. We are super happy with her new home also. The staff is always nice and accommodating. We have been to several events and it is always up beat, great food, and a lot of fun interacting with the other residents. My Aunt has made lots of new friends and is genuinely happy. We really like it here!

The staff took very good care of my dad. They became like family to us. I am very thankful that we have their support and Care during the last year of my dad‘s life. The families and staff there will always hold a special place in my heart.

Brookdale has been a blessing for us. My mom has been here three years. I appreciate everything the staff does and feel comfortable with them caring for my mom. Any issues or problems that we have had are resolved quickly.

Overall i'm happy with with the different conditions and pleased with the service. My wife has lived her 2 years. I visit the community everyday and my wife is doung well. There is a full day of activities to participate in

Since beginning the process of finding a new home for both my father in law and mother in law, Brookdale has stood heads above the rest. The staff is excellent, the facility is spotless and there are lots of smiles! Thank you to Brookdale of Burlington for making this transition a positive experience!

They have always done a great job taking care of my mom. Nothing is perfect in life but they try and succeed at doing a darn good job. We are happy to have her in their care! From the time we brought her up to now 1.5 years later, she is doing the best she can be and they always tell us how much they love her.

We have been happy with our mother -in-law’s care. It is a relief to know she is safe and being loved on. We always have pleasant visits with her. The care she is receiving has been a blessing. She is very happy here!

I have felt that my Mama has been very well taken care of, since the first day she came to Brookdale. She has needed more assistance as she’s been here, but I am proud to say that the staff at Brookdale is top notch! Thankful for everyone at Brookdale, and I don’t worry about Mama since being at Brookdale.

The staff at this facility truly care about their residents and treat them like family!! My parents have lived here over two years. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for assisted living options for family or friends.
