At first, to get you in there, they are very friendly and kind. And then once you're in, it feels like there is a lot of penny pinching. Their main concern seems to be money, and they are less concerned about resident welfare. There are individual staff members who are great, but overall management seems to care more about money than about their residents. The rooms are quite nice and have big, nice, bright windows. If you don't need a lot of help, the actual apartment is pretty nice.

My mom has recently made the move into this community and she is getting better day by day in her new living environment. I am overall comfortable with the care she has been receiving and the staff are always attentive to her needs. I am pleased to see them doing there best to try and keep her happy and involved in different activities and events. I will say there meals need improvement. I have noticed everything seemed to be over cooked and the quality in how they cook is poor.

The community was nice and the people seemed genuine about working with the residents. They were out doing things. The tour was good. The only thing was that it was further than we needed and the price.

Our family has had a very positive experience at Brigham House for our Dad. The extra services that are required for him more than meet his needs. Staff are courteous and responsive on every front.

Wonderful care for my Dad, who has had a stroke and suffers from memory issues. They check on him every hour and escort him to meals, in addition to providing his meds, morning and night. He receives regular bathing, as well. Very happy with the care and the facility.

My mom has transitioned very nicely into Brigham House. She's very happy there. She's happy with the meals they provide, and making friends. Her experience with assisted living has been great there at Brigham House. She's more independent now, which is good. This facility is more affordable than a lot of the others we toured, and mom liked this one best. They offer lots of activities for the residents as well.

A Place for Mom has scored Brigham House 6.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
