I thought Bridges was excellent. They are expensive, but if you can afford it, it is well worth the money. I felt the staff was very friendly and took a personal interest in each of the clients. I did have one dinner there one day, and it was delicious.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and the tour experience was fine but the facility itself did not seem as use friendly as another community we were looking at.
Do not put your parents here. During COVID they felt it was appropriate to lock the residents in their rooms. My loved one wasn't able to get out if, there was something that happened. My loved fell and the staff didn't know it until later. Later that day they were sent to the hospital

Response from Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee
April 20, 2021Hello. We are sorry about your experience with our community and we’d like to speak with you directly about it. You may have been misinformed about residents being locked in their rooms. For the safety of our residents, this function of locking doors does not exist. Throughout the pandemic, safety protocols were followed by team members as recommended by the CDC and local health departments to ensure the health and safety of all residents and team members. Please call our Executive Director so we can further speak about your experience.
the staff was considerate respectful caring and wonderful and the community is beautiful. If you can afford it I would recommend this community.

It is a great community. It is a little more money than other places. It was great for my mom. They kept my mom active, she liked it because of it being a quiet place. They didn't have a lot of activities. They had a game room. Some other assisted living places, had a few more activities.

Bridges is a great community. We had no complaints. They have a fantastic layout. The food was good, it could have been a little better. The outdoor space is nice. The staff was very sensitive to our families needs.

I have been impressed with how they have handled the Covid crisis and how they have kept the residents safe. They are a great place for memory care, you just need to be aware of the upfront fees. They did not explain that well in the beginning. The layout is great, everything is on one floor. Food is excellent. They have a great secured outdoor space with plants, bird feeders and walking paths for the residents to enjoy.. The activities director is wonderful, she does a great job keeping the residents busy with fun activities.

The residents live in an environment where their needs are met, they engage in activities geared to their needs; they have the opportunity to attend activities in the community like going to the library; go bowling; trips around the area, transportation is available; housekeeping, caregiving, meals and nursing are all done with a smile. Twice a month they offer a caregiver support group.

Even though my love one was only here for a couple of weeks everything that I have observed has been good. The people there are nice, the food is good, however I would say that it seems that they don’t have enough staff to care for the residents compared to other places. The facility itself is strictly an Alzheimer’s and Dementia care place. Other than that this place is really good.

I have a family member who was at this facility. We recently moved her out! They do not have enough staff to meet the needs of residents. Typical activity is line up the patients in front of the TV, which allows for fewer aides to be needed to watch over the residents! The communication from the director to staff is poor, and it shows in the quality of care. The director is basically a salesperson for Bridges, trying to keep the rooms "filled". Epoch is first and foremost a real estate company, and only secondarily is it a home for memory care patients There is no nursing care, unless you want to hire your own private aides or nurse, which will almost double the already high cost. Look around; there are better places for your loved ones.

Am pleased to live here at Bridges because of the very good supervision by the staff. Am very impressed with the activities for the residents. I would like to see an improvement with the food mentor and not repeat some of items 3 times and serve cakes that are not stale.

My mother feels safe. It’s clean, bright and friendly. Not enough CNAs to care for resident’s needs. Not enough training of CNAs to be aware of resident’s needs – or use of their time. CNAs as a whole are kind, compassionate but over worked! Laundry is mixed with others – Not good! Activities are great. Music, art and TV is okay.

I think it's a lovely place, it's very clean and the staff is very nice. I would recommend them. They are very accommodating and the place is immaculate. It's unfortunate that my husband is now in rehab but I hope he can go back to Bridges.

My mom has not yet participated in many of the activities offered. I am hoping this will change once she gets settled in more. The staff are very good and we have good communication with them, however I think they may need to add more staff. The food is fine and my mom seems to like it.

The staff was wonderful there. They would have had everything there that my Mom would have needed, but she died before we could get her moved in. I would like to say that I would definitely recommend A Place for Mom because they were very helpful in finding a facility.
