If I can If I can give 1/2 star I would. Do not bring anyone you care about to this place! They lied about bathing my Mom. We paid extra for level 4. Assisted 3-4 showers a week, assisted toileting etc. they also said they have a doctor on staff and would get the best of care, including physical therapy. We had to give them a non refundable [removed], plus [removed]. For the last two was of the month. And they took [removed] out of my mom’s account at the beginning of the month. FYI. Do not give these people access to your bank for easy payment, they will clean you out. My Mom was there from [dates removed]. Firstly, her room was infested with ants, the floor, dresser, bed. I was told there are no ants. I brought ant bait for her room. My mom fell 2x they did not even tell me or call an ambulance. She got no showers at all from the staff. I went every few days after work and gave her showers. They claimed the gave her showers daily. After I showered her I put powder in places that needed to be lifte

I had a beautiful tour and plan on getting my Uncle in very soon. We are from out of state so it’s tough with transportation but I cannot wait for him to move in. I also look forward to seeing how happy my Uncle will be when he sees his new home. Thank you Best Care :)

No staff to speak of. employees pulling triple shifts. yes I wrote it correctly triple shifts. 24 hours straight. Lies all around from management. When someone falls no one there for ages to help them up. You have to wait for your food after you're at the dinner table for as much as 40 minutes while it sits in a heating unit. They argue about giving you your meds. You say no and they say yes. They fired all the nurses to lower the price. They spruced up the place while putting call buttons for residents on the back burner. There is so much more. Let me get my thoughts together. Management are in over their heads and cover it up with lies they hope you buy.

Best Care senior living did a great job taking care of my son. The reason I say this is because This care team went way beyond what I would have expected or what I have ever experienced. The food is excellent. Staff is friendly and caring. My son felt he belonged In this unique assisted living community. I would highly recommend talking with these folks before you make another commitment. Gary Halverson

We put my mom in here when covid was an issue and we were not able to go inside the facility. We did get a virtual tour and we were allowed to see her on outside visits but it was out front so a lot of other activity was going on. When we saw her she just did not seem to be quite right and no one seemed to care for her as an individual. The wheelchair she was being brought out in, the wheels were caked with garbage, she would come out with different walkers constantly. In April we were finally allowed in, the virtual tour we had seen was not the facility that she was in. It was dark and things were dirty. We got in her room and nothing was hung on the walls and her bedspread was missing. It seemed like a place for people who needed much more care. They were understaffed and the employees did not seem to interact with the residents at all. We were very unhappy with our experience.

Careless executive director and administration. This place needs a new operating system. Residents are NOT engaged, they are over medicated and there aren’t enough nurses or staff for the residents to be cared for adequately. There needs to be a rehabilitation regimen fit into daily routines; music, movies, readings allowed and church performances. Not enough effort by staff.

My wife has moved in to The Palms of Punta Gorda. She likes everyone there and gets along great, she is friends with everyone. The staff are outstanding! The accomodations and food are not the best or fanciest but that can be expected for it to be mediocre. Once a week they have a man bring in puppies and she really enjoys that. There is also a banjo band that comes in and plays, which is also enjoyed.

Scheduled a tour online, but there was nobody but a front desk person available to help us when we arrived. She did the best she could, showing us around all of the units. The units were small, dark and almost all did not have private bathrooms -- baths were shared among several residents. Was not able to get information on pricing, but was not terribly impressed with the appearance of the facility. Food looked good. Activity schedule was not available. Staff (other than the nice lady at the front desk) did not appear anxious to offer information to us.

I would highly recommend them to anyone, they are very, very good. Whoever takes charge there is right around there all the time and apparently it wasn't very good but he took over and it is just wonderful. They were wonderful to my mom, I had no problems, her room was clean and everything. They were just wonderful to her.
