Bay Lake Community

Bay Lake is a very nice assisted living. The staff are like family to us. I feel safe and well cared for. I'm proud to call Bay Lake my home.

I toured here and was very impressed. The staff were all smiling and very nice. The apartments were updated with tall ceilings and nice fixtures. My dad is not ready to move just yet, but Bay Lake will be his home when he does.

Bay Lake feels like home immediately the second you walk through the doors. The staff are smiling and seem to really enjoy their work there. The residents always look well taken care of and genuinely happy. I would recommend Bay Lake to anyone looking for an assisted living or memory care.

They truly care about their residents at Bay Lake. It is hard to move your loved one into a community but they have made us feel so relieved with the compassion they have shown. Mom seems to have actually improved since moving here and we are very happy with our decision.

Food is delightful and staff are friendly. Grounds are acceptable and the hallways are always clean and bright. Great management that attend to concerns immediately. Prime location next to recreation park. Highly recommend.

We were very hesitant about moving my aunt in but the staff went above and beyond our expectations. I can’t say enough great things about this community. I never thought my aunt would enjoy participating in activities but they have really changed her outlook! We are very happy with our choice.

Bay Lake is a beautiful and well-kept community. It has a great reputation in the community and lives up to its name. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help whether you're a resident or visiting!

[name removed] the marketing director was very helpful, and informative. [name removed] the Executive Director is very kind. I enjoyed my time while touring. Bay Lake is the way to go!!!

I came in for a tour after looking at multiple other communities for my mother, and I was very impressed. Not only was it a well kept community, but everyone I encountered was very friendly. The apartments are updated and neat. They seem to have a good team to manage the day to day operations. My mother is not ready yet, but once she is, this will be our first choice.

I have been trying to get a refund from Bay Lake since mid 2023. My neighbor passed in 12/22. No one seems to want to return calls or emails about the situation. Sent his estate one refund with no invoice stating what was included in the refund, and it was not enough. Seems odd they won't return my calls.

Bay Lake is truly the best in Virginia Beach. Staff are responsive and caring. It is a smaller community, which is very beneficial because it provides a more family-like environment and feel. We are pleased here!

This community is a great place to live, the food is fantastic in the amenities are great. The amenities are there our house keepers on staff as well for seven-‘s nursing staff. I cannot recommend this place more.

I attended Bay Lake's Open House last week and I was very impressed. The community was clean and the staff were very professional. You did not feel like you were in a retirement home, it was more like a 5 star hotel! I will be back in the future.

I had a great experience visiting a friend at Bay Lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. My friend seems to be very happy here and his quality of life has improved since moving in. I would recommend checking it out. This is a nice place.

We toured this community and was offered to stay for lunch. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly! It is clean and very bright. It feels welcoming and homey. I would recommend taking a tour here!

This is beautifully kept community. I have known many friends over the years who have lived here and were very satisfied. It seems a lot of the staff members stay, which is always a plus. Bay Lake will be at the top of my list when I am ready for a retirement home.

This is a very lovely community. I have a dear friend who lives here that I visit often and everyone is always very welcoming and friendly. The meals are delicious and they have lots of activities for the residents. This is a great place!

This community was impressive and superior to other communities I have toured in the area. Everyone was very nice and helpful with all of my questions. The building is well maintained and clean. I highly recommend Bay Lake!
