My mother is safe and well cared for at Autumn Home Care. She has enjoyed meeting new people. The facility is run by a family who truly cares about the residents. I recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

The staff was very compassionate. However, my mother‘s physical needs far exceeded their capacity to care for her since there was usually just one or two people available. It was a very homelike atmosphere and set out in the rural environment, which was very peaceful. I was grateful that they cared for my mom during a critical time until I could get her to larger facility that was better equipped to meet her particular needs. This was more of an independent living situation rather than true assisted living. They were great about making sure she got her medications on time, which is something that independent living generally does not do. They were super at communicating with me. I would recommend them highly if your loved one is still physically able, but needs help with medication, beginning dementia, or assistance with meals and bathing.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
