Atria Las Posas

I would honestly give a "5" rating for each of these areas. We remain very please with the level of care and overarching experience. We signed the lease in late [date removed] and moved our loved one into Atria in late [date removed]. We didn't anticipate her stay in assisted-living to be so short, but we ultimately moved her into memory care this past [date removed]. But even that transition was made manageable and palatable by the care of the staff. There's been a lot of turnover, in terms of the administration, at that location, but some of the key staff have held down the fort, so to speak. We are grateful for what they provide and feel just as confident that we made the right choice for our family.

I was living at home with in home care that was not satisfactory. The cost of in home care became too costly. A relative was working at Atria in another location and mentioned that Atria Las Posas was best for me. The first day I came here I met [name removed] and a resident [name removed]. I immediately fell in love with both. That was the middle of Feb 2024 and I moved into a very nice located 1 Bedroom on the ides of March. The exterior location is exemplary across from a park, a church and located near shopping areas with walking distance (if you can walk) more than a couple of blocks. ALL the Staff are kind, compassionate, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I honestly have not met anyone I can say I do not like. [name removed]in particular is my go to guy. He makes any situation laughable, dressed professionally and is genuinely concerned about each and every resident. I highly recommend Atria Las Posas as a choice for you before a choice has to made for you.

Our experience has been great. My mother has a one bedroom overlooking inside courtyard. She is looking forward to some activity down there when the weather warms up. I think that the activities are great, but it would be nice to have a few additional things added. Like maybe some music performances a few times a month, Maybe a walking group around the inside of the community or outside, ideas for beautifying your patio like caring for potted plants, instructions around how to play some new games.Overall, I think they do a terrific job

Atria was by far the best community that we researched and explored. From the administrators to the housekeeping staff and especially the residents, everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The carpets were clean, the walls were virtually scuff-free, the interior was bright with lots of natural sunlight, the decor was tastefully appointed, the grounds were nicely manicured, and there were no unpleasant aromas wafting through the air.

Atria Las Posas is a wonderful place for those who have the means to afford increases as needs increase and for those residents who are still able to be independent/socially active. Each experience is unique. Our mom declined significantly after moving there, possibly due to the problems with the transition which increased her dementia symptoms. Which could have happened with a move anywhere. Atria was helpful in walking us through the challenges we were experiencing with our mom. In the end, it was not an affordable option long term once she ended up needing 1:1 attention.

I spent 6 months respite care at Atria Las Posas in Camarillo. The staff was great ?? very friendly and proactive - seeking to help and problem solve without needing to be prompted. It’s a family atmosphere and residents are encouraged to make friends. The community dining in particular encourages this. The arts and crafts program is excellent with both staff and outside artists and artisans teaching different skills. Freedom of expression is king.

Atria Las Posas is the perfect place to call home! Our mom was very uneasy about moving into senior living but she agreed to take a tour. The Sales Director put all her fears to rest. She was lucky to get an apartment with a wonderful balcony that she loves. The staff is well trained and so helpful. They take care of everything for her. She loves the food. The other residents are so nice and mom has made many friends. The communication and safety measures through these uncertain Covid times have been remarkable. The entire staff and residents deserve so much praise! We love the Atria family and you will too!

We chose Atria Las Posas based on the price point this was recommended to us and they are a much more experienced company with care. The room sizes at the facility are decent. I am happy and my mom is happy as well which is important. I would definitely recommend to others looking based on the price right now.

This is a great community for your loved one. The staff are friendly, and they have been able to make it a smooth transition for my loved one. The staff are amazing! Some of the activities have been limited due to the pandemic. I wish they had better walking grounds, especially for my loved one who likes to walk outside. The tram isn't available for store runs. However, the community is open to new ideas for activities.

I would recommend you highly consider this community for your loved ones. We found everything we were looking for here. The floor plans are the best we saw here. The only thing I would like to see improved is the maintenance team's response time.

Overall with the pandemic the community has handled it well. This community seems like a very well run place, their meals are good, and the staff seems to know what they are doing. This is a new community. I would recommend this community for your loved one.

I can’t say enough about our experience with Atria. My mom moved in about 6 months ago after having memory loss and problems with her physical stability. The staff were so welcoming, kind and patient. They answered all of our questions and put my mom at ease from the very first interaction. Moving and change can be overwhelming, but once mom met the staff and saw all that the community had to offer, she was sold. She loves the daily interaction with her neighbors and the staff and I love that she is safe. The covid protocols are incredibly thorough and they send weekly (and sometimes daily) community updates. Atria has been a life saver for our family. If you are on the fence about assisted living I would urge you to take a tour of Atria. The value is unmatched in this area and the staff are fantastic.

My mother recently relocated to Atria Las Posas and we couldn't be happier with the experience. [names removed] and the entire ALP team made the move easy from start to finish. They proposed the ideal living situation and package of services to fit my mom's current needs and budget, even going as far as to provide additional furnishings for mom's room, which she had lacked previously. Further the staff all made it a point to stop by and welcome her on the first day and provide orientation on schedules, classes and amenities which ALP offers.
