My mom was there for 4 months and I have removed her from that facility. Residents required to sit all day in a cold group sitting area with no activities other than an obnoxious, blaring TV. She rarely had on her own clothes, rarely bathed properly, her hair never combed, her undergarments wet and soiled, family had to regularly ask to have her changed, bedding was minimal with never enough blankets on the bed for nighttime! Carpeting not clean and bathrooms were never sanitized appropriately. Mom was "lost" by personnel one night and found asleep in the laundry room on a pile of pooped on and peed on bed linens. Then on another occasion, she was "lost" again and found in the kitchen with no clothes on trying to find a knife to kill herself. Never any apology or communication. Mom went multiple days without her meds; some of her meds found on the floor in her bedroom. No beautician on site as advertised, NO activities on site, no devotional services, no aging in place services!

It was really nice to have my loved one someplace where they cared about him. He's in a different place now that I am not at all happy with in comparison. We had a great experience at Aspen House. The people there were wonderful. I have no complaints. I thought it was a great value - they were a huge help to me.

This community is very nice. I chose this community after doing much research and finding nothing but positive feedback and seeing that they have won awards for their outstanding care in regards to memory patients. We like the staff they are friendly and attentive and helpful. My husband seems to enjoy the food. The community is always clean and well maintained.

My mom is currently a resident at Aspen House II. This is an extraordinary facility for our loved ones with Alheimers/Dementia. My mom couldn't be in better hands. The entire staff loves each and every resident. This is a small, family run facility with a fantastic staff-to-patient ratio. I would recommend this facility looking for great quality care for their loved one.

A Place for Mom has scored Aspen House II 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
