Arden Court of Fair Oaks has entered a new era under its recent appointment of a new executive director, and the results are nothing short of remarkable. As a frequent observer of the facility, I have been privileged to witness the dramatic improvements firsthand. The most striking change is the palpable sense of warmth and hospitality that now permeates the atmosphere. From the moment one steps through the doors, it's evident that every staff member is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. This dedication to hospitality ensures that residents and visitors alike feel valued and cherished. However, what truly distinguishes Arden Court of Fair Oaks is the unwavering dedication of its care staff. Day in and day out, these individuals go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to residents. Whether it's assisting with daily tasks, organizing engaging activities, or simply offering a comforting presence, the care staff consistently demonstrate their commitment

My Dad was cared for at Arden and now my brother is. Arden staff have been incredibly patient and caring. My brother can be difficult but they know how to soothe him and make him feel comfortable. Arden staff feel like family. The nursing staff is truly excellent but all the other staff from the administrator to the dietary staff to housekeeping and maintenance have all taken the time to forge a connection with my brother and me. I’m grateful to Arden for treating my family like their family. This awful journey has been made much easier knowing my brother is at Arden.

My dad did a 30 day respite with Arden Courts of Fair Oaks. We were thrilled with the care he received. The nurses and CNA's were attentive and patient with my father. If we can no longer keep him at home we will gladly place him at Arden Courts.

At Arden Court Fair Oaks, there’s a notable shift toward setting an example for others! With a new Executive Director and additional staff members, positive changes have been evident in a short span. My family and I are delighted to witness this positive trajectory, and we firmly believe that with the compassionate caregivers and nurses, they have the potential to become exemplary. While there are still areas to improve, having a proactive leader gives us confidence that anything is achievable over time. The residents consistently receive attentive care, and the meals are outstanding! Whenever we visit, my mom is thoroughly engaged and happy participating in activities.

I recently toured Arden Courts of Fair Oaks for my mom who will soon be needing a memory care community. I was so impressed by the how pleasant and engaging the staff were with the residents. The residents all looked well put together and happy. You could tell the staff was loving and really cared for the residents. This is definitely where I will be moving my mom when the time is right.

If you want your loved one to be cared for with passionate and loving individuals, this is your place. My brother gets all the care he gets and it is not easy dealing with dementia at all but they make it seem easy !

They responded first to my inquiry, were able to host a tour right away, and was close to our location. I would recommend it.

They are still better than other establishments around here, but they need to get their management issues solved and get back on mission. We picked this community because they specialized in advance dementia care. Facilities is on target, but the staff training is not where it should be.

My loved one is so happy with Arden Courts of Fair Oaks. She has made friends, enjoys the activities and spending time outside with friends or on her own. The food prepared by chef [name removed] and her staff is truly outstanding! I wish I could give them higher than a 5! Staff are committed to creating the best care for the residents in a kind, compassionate way while preserving the dignity of the residents. [name removed], the executive director has done wonders for the facility in the short time she has been in the position. [name removed], the head nurse, and her staff are knowledgeable, caring and helpful. [name removed], head of facilities, is quick to help and has definitely improved the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. We LOVE Arden Courts of Fair Oaks!! No one wants to hear that their loved one has memory issues and can no longer live independently. No facility is perfect, but the staff at Arden Courts of Fair Oaks is quick to respond to questions or concerns, and they take pride in providing the best care possible for your loved one.

My father himself regards Arden Courts very favorably. He has said many times without being prompted that "the ladies are very nice, the food is good, the place is clean and I'm sleeping well." This of course, is music to my ears. I will add that I find the staff to be very friendly and supportive of the residents. My father hasn't participated my yet -- more encouragement would be welcome and even providing the monthly schedule to him would be helpful.

This facility used to be really good, but they recently changed staff and the director and things are not going well. Bathing is an issue and they can't seem to handle residents who refuse. They say they can only suggest it and if the resident declines there's nothing they can do by law. This didn't used to be an issue but it's pretty bad now. The facility itself is very clean. They have a good variety of activities. There is no communication with the family unless we push for it. The community phone for resident use was broken for TWO months. It was so frustrating. I will say it's bright and airy, they have nice sitting areas, it's a nice atmosphere. This is Dementia/Alzheimer's focused facility vs just basic memory care like most are. They are more trained on the conditions and residents. I would have recommended them with the old staff/director. Now, I'm not sure.

things started out ok here at Arden Courts but in the midst of Covid they have developed some staffing issues. I'm sure every facility has this issue, and I also understand its a stressful job. however, I'm very concerned about the care services and the staff. I moved my loved one in because of the educational background of their nurses and staff, and the ongoing training that they were receiving; but it seems like all of those people are now gone. they've brought in staff from temp agencies. these people aren't trained and don't know how to deal with the residents who need memory care. they don't know how to negotiate or be patient with them. the head nurse is good, but the other nurses are kind of standoffish. the receptionist rarely greets me and I wouldn't know the director if I fell over her. she has made no outreach aside from emails. I recognize she's new and may be overwhelmed with all of the issues this community has. the cleanliness of common areas is great, but they are not so good with cleaning the residents individual rooms. this is almost never done unless you complain about it. I understand why though because they have the nurses cleaning the dining room and other areas, they can't seem to retain a solid housekeeping team. they do offer a lot of activities, but they don't encourage the residents to join. if your loved one says no, then there's no attempts to engage them. I've been seriously considering moving my loved one because I'm concerned that he's not receiving the level of care he needs.

There is a lack of communication between the doctors and staff when it comes to the doctors evaluation and any type of medication changes. That could be improved. They could also improve on their organization with inventory and the resident belonging's because our loved one has had things go missing.

I have given great reviews before. My mom has been there for about nine months. Loved it at first. It was wonderful. Now I am looking to move her out. New director and nursing changes. Not happy at all. Rooms and patients not as clean, director is not interested. Covid is everywhere, and they are still open. No communication at all.

I'm so glad we chose to move my parents to Arden Courts. Everyone is so kind and professional, from the front desk staff to the caregivers and peripheral staff. I know my dad is in a good place and he is well taken care of by people who care.

Arden Courts was impressive they only do memory care. You had a shared bathroom and this is the only negative for us.
During the time our loved one was there, he received such excellent care. They made the whole family feel so welcomed and cared for. The care services would be a five plus. The had some activities for the residents, and even got our loved one to participate in a few art classes. We liked the layout of Arden Courts, it is all on one ground, it is very nicely decorated and homey feeling. It is clean and attractive and easily accessible for residents and guests. It has a lot of windows, and it was a very positive first impression. The food is fabulous, we even had a private dining room for Christmas dinner. It was just terrific, and gourmet cooked. There was always music available, which was very soothing to our loved one. They had a big emphasis for music playing. He had a number of care givers that would rotate through the night, and without an exception they were so great at what they did.

I would tell my friends that as far as memory care, this is one of the better communities. They are more inclusive. The community has a monthly rent that covers everything. The fact that they do memory care is a definite plus. They are able to assist the families and residents with memory care issues. You are not locked into a contract. You can come and go with the contract. There isn't a high buy in, I believe what they ask for is the first month's rent. My loved one has been there for about a year. We are happy during the COVID pandemic. They have been good at looking over my loved one. They have been following all the protocols.

Friendliness is a 10 out of 10, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Staff is very caring, they had activities every day like memory games as well as physical activities. We ate there a couple times, the food was nice but it wasn't always warm. They would have home aid bread, fresh salads and desserts everyday. The community had gardens all around the facility, as well as big dining rooms. The layout was well designed. The outdoors were very accessible to all residents, which is one of the main reasons we liked this community. The office staff and nursing staff were very helpful all the time. They were very attentive and very responsive and just very friendly. We truly made a good decision.
