Arbor Palms Senior Living

My parents have both passed away since I placed them in Arbor Palms of Anaheim, I would not recommend Arbor Palms of Anaheim. Definitely not a place that I would recommend. I would say a 0 at best, would not even give them a 1

My mom fell in the facility, broke her hip and was transported to the hospital for surgery. She went to skilled nursing for rehab after that, and on the same day she was scheduled to return to Arbor Palms. They advised me that she is no longer welcome and you have to clean her room out. I had to scramble to find another place quickly. Arbor Palms sucks.

I can't believe it... My mom moved in on [date removed], and now they're raising the rent from $[removed] to $[removed]overnight. They didn't even bother to inform me about this increase, not through email, not through mail. This company is just... the absolute worst. I'm so upset, I even had to call Adult Protective Services on them. There are so many people who won't be able to afford this sudden hike in rent. It's just a terrible place for seniors to live. There's absolutely no compassion for the elderly.

My father-in-law has really thrived at Arbor Palms Senior Living. He enjoys the meals, the staff are friendly, the laundry is handled appropriately, and the room is clean. The facility is inviting and the staff have always been welcoming. Unfortunately, the facility is under new management and they saw fit to increase the cost by 75%, which priced us out. The only communication was the 60 day notice which we received via email. it is super disappointing as I would have absolutely recommended this facility to anyone. I understand that it is a business, and I hope that it doesn't have a detrimental effect on the other residents. We are having to relocate my father-in-law after only a couple of months of being here.

I would recommend the community based on cleanliness and friendliness. I haven't had any issues with staff communication. The community does serve three meals a day. There is a set menu; however, if the resident would prefer something different they can certainly order something different.

We have had no issues at all with Arbor Palms it has been a great experience, our family is really happy and our loved one seems to be very happy. He is enjoying being able to be around other residents and the staff do a good job keeping our loved ones room really clean. Based on our experience we would recommend Arbor Palms Senior Living to other families.

When we moved her in the bath room was disgusting. Roommate hadn't flushed toilet, it was full of waste and obviously been like that for days, trash can over flowing with waste toilet paper. I was shocked .

Overall , cost and care. Mom still has cognition so the food variety, activities aren't quite there

Arbor Palms is a very polite and organized community. They prioritize their citizens with a at home environment and purposeful activities.

Very good service. Both staff and residents are very nice. Everyone is working hard to cover shifts when staff is light!

I have been a resident for 7+ years. Over this time frame there have been 6 ED's and I was resident president for 5 years. Until now I can finally see leadership, accountability, teamwork, and efficiencey over all functional units.

Chief Engineer and very personable. Very good at what he does. Activities Director is very accommodating to all residents. Departments all work together effectively to provide good living conditions.

I like Arbor Palms for several reasons. #1 both staff and residents are nice people. Some places only staff or residents are nice. The freedom to do what we want is great and the facilities are pleasant and well maintained,

So thankful to have found Arbor Palms. The residents here are happy and the care is exceptional. Knowing mom is here where she’s safe, we’ll cared for and entertained takes a huge weight off of our shoulders. My mom is independent but also not very mobile so having a safe apartment with supportive staff to assist as needed is critical. The dining room, movie room, activities are so great for her social engagement and happiness. She instantly made many friends who all enjoy living here. Clean, safe and friendly, I couldn’t be happier!
