It's a good place. They've got facilities for just about everything, depending on your relative's needs. My wife and I ready to move in! My sister-in-laws' apartment is pretty spacious. She's in a handicapped accessible space which has a patio. It's nice and I can't find anything I'd change about it. Overall I would recommend American House to others.

Mom is very happy here American House Southland. We chose this facility because of the recommendations from people that we knew and then when we came to tour we liked everything that we saw so we decided that this would be the best fit for her. It is pretty expensive, though. The apartment sizes are very nice and she has her own little patio as well. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

My mothers first experience with assisted living at age 97. Had a bit of a shaky start, however, the staff have been caring and helpful and she is enjoying her life at American House. I have been navigating most of this process from out of state and the staff have excellent in their communication keeping me apprised of any issues with her or changes at the faculty. Particularly with the looming threat of COIVD they have gone to great lengths to keep their residents healthy. Much appreciated

Staff is amazing here! Very kind and helpful. My dad has lived here for over a year now and even though he is a quiet person he has made a lot of friends. Great sense of community. Great food with lots of choices. A variety of activities He can be included in as a little or as much as he wants to. This was a much easier transition than anticipated. Dad and the family have all been happy with him moving here.

They could not go wrong at least checking into it. My loved one enjoys the Friday happy hour. She really enjoys her exercise activities like balloon volleyball. She has learned to play dominos and some card games. This keeps her active which we all appreciate.

1. None perfect but feel doing well. 2. We are gaining weight-too much food-we never have had. 3. Big meals but realize need to not eat all but hard not to do so. Why no exercise room? The lunch is adequate and okay . We can make a choice but having to choose for the whole month of 2 meals per day is absolutely time consuming and which I hate to do every month. Dietary workers that deliver food are very nice and polite. Dinner meals are not so good. No assumptions at presents.
