Maryhaven

I have lived here for about 7 1/2 months and I love living here. I live in a Studio and it is perfect for me. I had to go for chemo for the first 4 months I was here and later had a lung lobe resection and the staff and management were always asking how I was and if I needed anything to just ask. It is kept very clean. I have made Friends with staff and residents. I would recommend Maryhaven.

My grandmother was living there and contracted bed bugs. They say they clean and sprayed the apartment, but they are still there. We have filed many adult human services reports on them as no one should live how “[name removed]” (the manger) makes them live and tells them lies to make herself and the company look better. Definitely do not recommend. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

What stood out to us about this facility were the friendly residents, which made me pick the place for my loved one. The facility was very clean and was just updated. Staff was super nice and made it easy to really choose the place for me and the pricing is very affordable for my loved one who is on a fixed income. They clean the place one time a week as well, which is convenient for her too because she is 80 years old. I have recommended this place to a couple of people now.

I don't have a lot to say. Nothing good, nothing bad. The staff have been okay. Her room is small but clean. She mentioned some spiders and ants. When she reported it, they came down and sprayed. Sometimes the food is really good, other times she doesn't care for it. But overall it's pretty decent. She knows the cook and really likes him.

The community is good for what it is. The apt sizes are good, but the food is very bad and there is no seasoning. The grounds are well maintained and clean, and I would recommend this community to others.

My father loves living there. He enjoys the independence of his own separate apartment with outside entry and the community feel. It is priced very competitively. Additional services are offered, but not required. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Maryhaven is a perfect fit for my brother. He has mobility problems and [name removed] managed to get him as close to the dining room as possible. The facility is neat and clean and has a home-like atmosphere. If you're looking for a place for yourself or a loved one, take a tour of Maryhaven. I'm sure you'll be as impressed as I was.

I highly recommend this facility. [name removed], as manager, was so courteous and so willing to help me find just the right apartment that would fit my brother's needs. My brother has a problem with mobility so she got him as close to the dining room as she could. She gave us a tour and the dining room and the rest of the facility itself is clean and has a home-like atmosphere. All the food is fresh and homemade. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, make an appointment to tour Maryhaven. Did I mention that all utilities, cable and three meals a day are included in the price of rent? Where else would you find that? Give Maryhaven a look!!

A really great and caring place my grandfather became a current resident and the lady who takes care of everything [name removed] was a wonderful and great help she went above and beyond in all the help we needes due to my grandfathers situation i would recommend anyone looking for a good place to check this place out good prices caring staff rooms are well taken care of the food is good there are so many activities for the residents there and they give so much help and they gave so much time to help me figure how to get things done

This community was okay and the staff was not a problem. They were helpful and was accommodating for us. The community was clean as well. The only thing is that it was too expensive for what they offered.

The sanctuary at Maryhaven is really a wonderful little place. Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. Any questions or issues are dealt with immediately and efficiently. Everything is clean and the setting is peaceful!

So far everything is going well for my mother here at this community. This is an amazing community. Everything is working out very well, and I'am pleased with all they all have done for us. I know she is in good hands here.

The tour guide was very nice and informative about their meal plans and all the activities they had available. The community felt like a motel setting. It was up-kept and fairly organized. I however, didn't like that the residents would have to go outside from one building to another. This included getting their laundry done, going to activities, and trying to go to other common areas. I didn't like how the set up was.

I am very pleased with my loved ones experience in this community. The food is excellent and the dinning experience is just like a restaurant. They keep my moms room very prestige and offer deep cleaning once a week. Tracy has been wonderful on keeping open communication with my family, however the property management needs a lot of improvement. I could not have asked for a better place for my loved one.

My uncle is doing amazing here at this community. He really loves it here. I'am very pleased with all they have done for us. I know he is in good hands here, everyone is very kind and helpful. He really enjoys the meals. The have excellent restaurant services. For the most part it is a clean community. They have great resources available. but I do pay extra for it. He is very happy here. A place for mom was very helpful with all the help they provided. Everything has worked out well for us here.

Things are going good. He likes it there. We were kind of hoping that the cable would be upgraded because it is just basic, but he does not complain much. He has to go outside to get to the dining room, so it gets kind of cold sometimes. No big complaints. He loves the food and he is comfortable, so those are the most important things.

My father has been at this facility for one week and has adjusted very well. Is happy with the cost and lay out of his apt. People have been very helpful in getting him settled into the routine and what is available to him. He has signed up for his first trip for shopping and is looking forward to it. He has met new friends that have helped him with his transition. So far very nice facility, am very happy that this was recommended to us.

I visit my Mom weekly and always leave feeling happy with her decision to move to Maryhaven. The community is clean and smells good. Mom quickly found new friends in neighbors and regular visits with the ladies in the front office. We are very blessed.

The dining room is not dirty, but the food is bad, it is half-cooked. When I first came here I had a room, and it was a room that I liked, but I had to go back home to go get a check because they do not take cash, and when I came back the next day they had given my room to someone else.
