Almond Grove Assisted Living

I can't say enough of great things about this community, they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my mother and her needs. They help me a lot with making sure she gets her medications as well as helping her with hygiene throughout the week. I am also very impressed that all of the staff have gotten to know her on a personal level and are aware of what she is doing at all times. Everything is going perfect at this point and I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

My mother-in-law went to live here about 2 months ago. She is 92 and she was not thrilled with the prospect of leaving her home and going to an assisted living facility, but Within a week or so, whenever we came to visit, which was about every other day, she was busy with some group activity. She is very happy here now and looks better than she has in a long time. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and there are tons of activities. I am so glad we found this place for her.

This is a nice community. The staff is good, but they are a little under staffed. the food is good but they need more variety to be available. Alot of activities are available and she does enjoy participating. I would over all recommend this community for good

This is one of the places we toured when we were looking. It was nice, the staff was very friendly. I thought they offered good services and came well within our budget. However we felt that the rooms were a little small for our purposes.

My mother has been at Almond Ave. for going on 2 years. She is the happiest she has been in years. She is 96 years old and really enjoying herself. The food is great. All the help are loving and helpful. They provide a lot of fun activities for those who like to participate. I highly recommend it.

They are top notch in medication management and always on time. They are very conscientious of anything that has anything to do with medications. My loved one has a medical issue right now and they called me right away – we were able to get the problem solved right away.

It's wonderful! They're good to my aunt, there are a lot of activities, it's very clean and the food is good. My husband and I went shopping around and we really liked the fact that Almond Avenue had so much to do. It's got a homey atmosphere with 2 big living rooms. You can play cards and be louder in one living room or you can sit and read by the fireplace in the quieter one. I looked at the menus and the facility and I just thought that this is what I would like. I took my aunt with me and she agreed that Almond Avenue was what she was looking for.

This place was ok but we did not get a good feel for mom.

While older, it's very clean and homey feeling. Staff was very friendly and residents I spoke with loved living there. Good sized room. A bit of a stretch financially.
