The facility is clean and well maintained. There are many common gathering areas and all are very appealing, tastefully decorated, and comfortable - and some even have cozy fireplaces. It's a beautiful place. The one bedroom apartment is spacious, comfortable and has a kitchenette with small rectangular fridge with freezer, a microwave, sink, 2 double door cabinets and one wide single door cabinet - all with double shelf space, plus 3 drawers. His kitchenette also has a 2 burner stovetop (which is turned off for assisted living residents). Apartment has 2 roomy closets - one near front door and one in bedroom. Bathroom is large with lots of storage under the sink plus a large medicine cabinet in wall plus an open linen closet/storage area with 4 deep shelves. Has heat and a/c. Only drawback about the room is it requires a key for entry which can be cumbersome and sometimes difficult for a 95 year old. The swipe hotel-like plastic cards would be way better for the aged. The food is really good and the dining room staff seem very accommodating. The dining room director is wonderful. I am in constant contact with the 6 daytime nurses and the are also really wonderful, caring, concerned, understanding and so generous with their time during consultations. My Dad enjoys the music programs but he hasn't ventured into any of the other activities yet, so I can't rate that department. Allerton in Weymouth does offer a full schedule of activities but a lot of them do seem to be geared towards women's interests. Allerton does offer an app service called Famileo which I have just begun and am very excited about. Family members can submit news, stories, messages and photos online via the app or the website. Famileo compiles and transforms the digital posts into a full color personalized newspaper that gets printed and delivered to the resident once a week. Such a great way to keep him in touch & entertained and to keep the whole family connected. (Hope it works!) I feel we made the best decision choosing Allerton House in Weymouth and that we couldn't have chosen a better place for my father's needs at this time. The culture there is inclusive and fun. My mother is participating in many activities as they offer many choices. She has a friends to talk to and she is being well cared for. We picked this community because of the location, pricing model is month to month and overall impression.

The people at Allerton House Weymouth are all professional, lovely and helpful. They check in with my mother consistently, they help her with every need. The facilities are beautiful and peaceful. I feel totally comfortable leaving my mom in their hands. This facility is smaller and more engaging than some of the larger facilities that we toured. I would recommend Allerton House Weymouth to family and friends.

Our family was very grateful for the time mom spent at Allerton House. Everyone was very friendly and caring, and the facilities were always kept nice and clean. It has a homey vibe, which I think helps people transition to their new surroundings. My mom was there through the pandemic, and that was very difficult. But Allerton was fantastic through it all. The first 20-22 months were superb when [name removed] was the nurse in charge of the Memory Care unit. Once she went elsewhere, her replacement I believe was out of her league and the care waned. She was very nice and tried, but it was just not the same. There was a lot of general staff turnover at that time as well. That being said, she was not there for long, and I hear there is a new nurse now and more Dementia-related activities. Overall, for the money, the facility is terrific. It's a wonderful organization.

Our family has had many tours with this community and we can say they have been good experiences
This community was very nice and the tour experience was great.
We loved Allerton House. It is a lovely facility and I would have felt comfortable having my parents here. We chose the other Allerton House facility only due to the fact that it was closer to us, both were equally just as great!
It is a lovely community. The grounds are small. The building is decorated nicely. I wouldn't mind living there.
I was impressed with the staff members during our stay here. I would recommend them for others who are looking.
We are seriously considering here....

Same impressions as Allerton House at Hingham, but a sense of a slightly different culture. Can't explain that, just a (good) feeling about the type of resident here, though amenities were identical. Location was equidistant for all siblings, with relatively easy access to major roadways. [Removed] was helpful in giving suggestions on encouraging a move here.

Everyone I met was extremely helpful and very interested in what my mothers needs were. It was a very difficult decision for me. My mother is very happy there and is making friends.

The Director Al is knowledgable and friendly and very helpful with all the paperwork. He met my dad and thought he was a good fit for the Allerton House. The food is very good, it's healthy food and my dad is thrilled with the food. The staff is very friendly and the place is immaculate. He has a nice room and one morning when he missed breakfast the staff served him breakfast in his room. I would recommend the Allerton House, nothing we toured was as clean or as nice as their place. It's been a really good experience, on dad's move in day they fed me and my siblings lunch which was really nice. They are very accomodating.
