A Dignified Adult Care Home

Our loved one did not care for the food. She also mentioned that at times it was not enough and tasted like frozen food. No activities at all. My biggest disappointment was that I paid her rent of [fee removed] for [date removed], she passed away on [date removed] and they would not give me any refund at all. D&L stated that they couldn't give me a refund because they needed to pay your company. I was very good about paying her rent on the 1st of every month. That was a lot of money and as I said, I was very very very disappointed.

The home was sold right after my mom passed away in [name removed], I can only comment on our experience with that management team and the caregivers at the time. The home, staff and management were perfect in my opinion. We loved the kindness and care our mom received and the food was amazing.

This is what the standard should be, my dad just loves it here! The staff and care is exceptional. Keep up the great work! Also very clean and well kept and in a beautiful location. The lemons and grapefruit in the backyard are also amazing. All of the residents are happy and very well taken care of.

My experience with having my mother in this facility was quite bad. In the end, they seemed more interested in extracting as much money out of us over providing good healthcare for my mother, who passed after 6 days on their watch. Mom’s health was on the rise until the day she arrived at this facility. Once she arrived, things took an immediate turn for the worse and the nurses took no action that I was made aware of to help make her better. I cannot in any way recommend this facility.

This home is extremely clean, the staff is like family and care for my loved one. They look after her impeccably and I couldn't have asked for better care for her. My sibling and I knew as soon as we walked in that this was the place for our mom. [name removed], the business administrator, gave us the tour. They were extremely calming, the home was impeccably clean, the staff greeted us warmly, it smelled delicious. {name removed] was very detailed in the daily care routines - we were very confident this was our mom's new home.

Right when you walk into the community you can see just how nice and clean it is. Our loved ones care giver [name removed] was so wonderful and did everything correct, she really did care for our loved one. [name removed] who took care of all the administrative stuff was so well organized it was incredibly impressive. Every time our loved one went to the doctor she would make sure our loved one had the book that notated all the medication, and any updates regarding our loved ones health so the doctor would know exactly what was going on.

They have been absolutely fabulous. We chose them originally because we had visited several others and once we toured them they just knocked it out of the park. They had everything going for them and really impressed us, it was an easy decision. They have been very transparent and helpful and seem to be on top of their game. It has been a breath of fresh air and we would highly, highly recommend them.

What stuck out to us about D & L adult care home was that it was very clean and nice inside, the appearance was excellent. My moms room was one of the smallest, but I have seen others an most of the rooms are good sized. Overall, the food was good. The owner was very helpful in a lot of ways and very active in my moms life, we really enjoyed her. We had a good experience and would recommend.

In general I liked the way the tour was set up for us. I was happy with how knowledgeable and friendly they were. WE were pretty prompt to start a move in, I was impressed with the way they accommodating us.

The absolute BEST Assisted Living Group Home on the west side. You will not be disappointed. The care is top notch, the food is all home cooked and delicious. A gem of a home!
