Rainbow Gardens Assisted Living in Spring Hill, FL
5.0

After being admitted into rehabilitation in December, my sister and I made the difficult decision to find an assisted living community for our mother. After touring many other places, we met with the owner of Rainbow Gardens. They have an open-door policy and invited us to tour both of their homes whenever we were ready. We met with the manager, the staff and the owners three different times before finally choosing to bring our mother to Rainbow Gardens. It was a big decision, and they were extremely patient and accommodating. Since then, we are very pleased with deciding to place our mom here. The staff is great! They are extremely observant and loving, and they do put the residents first. The home is always clean and the meals look amazing. My family is very close, and we also appreciate that this is a family-owned business. We recommend them to everyone!

This is an excellent community for the care of my good friend. The community is clean and always taken care of. She is happy here and seems to enjoy a lot of the nice activities that are offered. I like knowing that she likes the nice variety of the menu. The activities are offered to her and she likes to participate with the other residents. We would highly recommend this community to other families. for good care and a nice value for a loved one.

What are care homes?

Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:

  • Mobility assistance
  • Nutritious meals
  • Social activities and outings

In Spring Hill, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.
