Residential Care Home
My wife's uncle was here for almost 2-years until he passed away. I cannot tell you how comforting it felt to see how they provided a home for him with compassion, laughter, and a whole lot of caring and compassion. All necessary medical needs were provided for in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner as well. My family and I were there often, many times unannounced, and it was always top notch. I highly recommend Ava Cares!
It's a small group home, with only about four people in it. This is fine for us. They don't really have activities, but this wasn't something we needed. It works really great for our needs but I can't really say what others would think. It's clean and the people are friendly. They are quick to respond to any needs or concerns, and they do a good job.
Mom is doing better now that she is at Angels Touch Assisted Living Center. There are not as many activities here, it small facility. There really is nothing I can complain about. They take really good care of mom.

In Parrish, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.
