Residential Care Home
I have nothing but good things to say about Golden Age Home Care. My loved one is happy and enjoying the care they receive. The home is smaller with only six residents and you get to know the other family members. It feels like home!
Crossroads Manor is amazing. Our loved one was scared to move; however, the team at Crossroads went above and beyond to make our loved one feel comfortable with moving. This allowed our loved one to adjust quickly. The staff are the nicest people to all the residents. They decorate for all the holidays and then even have celebrations for all the resident's birthdays. They allow a maximum of six residents. They have been accommodating with us visiting our loved one. They seem to really enjoy what they do for the residents.
I was happy to find Sisters Assisted Living; the staff there is great. My brother has memory issues; the staff there is patient with him. Sisters Assisted Living is affordable, clean and nice. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found this community. They are very good to him. Sisters Assisted Living is the best

In Modesto, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.
The median monthly cost of a room in a care home is around $3,000 in Modesto and $3,500 in the state of California. However, the cost of living in a care home depends largely on location. Since the homes are private residences, costs are tied to real estate value and therefore may vary greatly.
