Residential Care Home
I was very happy with the care at this community. The staff were very helpful and caring for the needs of my husband. We found the community to be clean and well maintained. They did have a nice variety of the menu. They do also offer activities for the residents that want to participate. We would recommend this community fo the care of others.
My father went into this home with complete dementia. After a few weeks in the home with their care, three meals a day, making sure he took his meds properly, interacting with the other residents, he regained his mental health and the dementia went away completely. He had his own room, was allowed to have his dog with him, enjoyed the beautiful deck and surroundings and lived out the last few years of his life happy and well taken care of here. The cost was reasonable and cheaper than most other places for this level of private care. I’m grateful to Pleasant Care Home and their staff.
My recommendation for this home would depend on the person needing the care. The staff are wonderful and patient. The food is average and they do not offer any activities. The home is kept clean. I was not impressed with the assistance given to me by A Place for Mom.
