Only 4 to 5 patients at one time. Individual well appointed bedrooms. 24 hour staff who really give compassionate care. Owner is an RN.

The best thing is the facility itself. It is open and does not feel like a care facility. Many of homes I looked at were small and had a feeling of "this is the last stop." The Placer home felt like a home you would visit until you could return to your own home.

I feel at peace knowing my loved one is well taken care of at this facility. The quality of care provided is excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Love the transparency this facility provides. "what you see is what you get" No gimmicks, No inflated charges or services!

What we really like about the Placer Starcare community, is how excellent it has been so far and when it comes to the meals and dining they have a really nice variety for the residents to pick from, as well as nice quality served meals.

I have been privileged to follow care for few clients at Placer StarCare and always was impressed with the level of care provided. Staff is kind and always knowledgeable of client’s changes. I could always rely on accurate information when reviewing plan of cares. The facility is always clean and welcoming and residents always in good spirits and cheerful.

Placer Starcare was a dream come true for my mother and her sister when they could no longer live at home. The administrator and her staff were beyond caring and responsive. My mother and her sister spent the last chapter of their lives surrounded by beauty and love. We are eternally grateful!

I am so grateful to the good people at Placer StarCare for their professionalism and genuine love of caretaking. Everyone in the home who tended to my mother was gentle, kind, and knowledgeable concerning her needs and requirements. She shared a room with her sister, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing my aunt was also receiving the same quality of care. Over the time of her care there, I met all the family members of the business, including their children, and they were all lovely, understanding, and sensitive to my mother. I and my whole family have thanked them from the bottom of our hearts for giving us this last wonderful experience with our mom.

We love this smaller community. The staff is hands on and attentive to her. It is dog friendly so she can have her dog and that was important to her. They set us up with their pharmacy so her meds are delivered here. I love the in home closeness and how homey it feels like. They have 3 very good home cooked meals a day. I am impressed on how clean it is. It has a beautiful backyard with a large patio. The owner is easy to work with. They will have someone come in and do some 1 on 1 activities. I would recommend this community.

No one is perfect...but this place is close. It's very spacious and I'm very pleased with this care home. It's clean, lots of light and smells nice. The caregivers are very capable and patient. I'm not worried about my mother at all. The cost is not exorbitant and there is no upcharging for services rendered. Thank you A Place For Mom for helping me with my search.

So far things are very good. It's a good place for him. Medstar is bridging the gap between assisted living and memory care and it's working well for him. The staff is great! They are a young staff but they have experience. It is a new community and they are very receptive to suggestions and input. The staff to resident care ratio in Memory care is 2:1. My uncle is really getting the individualized care he needs.
