They seem to have a big turnover in the staff which is concerning. The food is just not good. It seems by the time my mom gets her food it's cold and the servings they get are very minimal.

Seaton Hagerstown
4.8

I've only been to Seaton Hagerstown a couple times, but my brother seems to like it there. Everybody there, including the residents, seems friendly. My brother is very friendly and has talked to just about everyone he sees. He says some people respond and some don't. Some people don't want to talk I assume, but he's made friends with several people in his vicinity that he goes down to have dinner with. One of the things he said when I first visited was, "I really like it here, I don't want to leave". I think he felt more at ease there as opposed to his previous living situations. I like that they lock the doors and you need a passcode to get in. That provides a sense of security knowing that the residents can't leave. He has a window view and enjoys seeing the cats outside. I'm pleased with them and compared to other communities we saw, I think that Seaton is the best fit for him. Although he has some memory complications, he seems content there.

I think this is great for home feeling .. and not feeling like your stuck in hospital . The rooms are spacious and I can pop in anytime I want the door is always opened ... and I like that. The staff is taking great care of my Dad and he seems well settled. The home feeling ... and not being overwhelmed . It is quiet and not a big sterile clinical setting ... home cooked meals and a consistent staff.
