Staff are required to receive training in a variety of subjects. These areas include healthy lifestyles, applicable state rules and regulations, financial management, and nutrition. Public assistance is available through Medicaid 1115 managed care Long-Term Services and Supports CHOICES program. The maximum occupancy is 2 residents per room. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include observing the resident while taking medication, assistance with reading labels, and opening dosage packaging.
