My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Lexington and most everything was great for her at this facility. The move-in process was efficient. The facility was very clean. The staff were very good. The head nurse even accepted phone calls on his mobile phone after hours and on weekends. The other residents seemed content. My loved one said that the food was okay, I never tried it. Overall, I would recommend Brookdale Lexington to others.

It's so difficult not being able to visit inside due to Covid. But it's been a lot better experience than I anticipated, because I feel my loved one's quality of life has improved, simply because she's interacting with other residents and staff. She feels safe, and she's not asking me to take her home. I feel like this has been great for her state of mind. I would recommend Elmcroft to anyone who is struggling with caring for a loved one with dementia. Any of the staff we've interacted with has been very kind to my loved one, especially the activities director. She sends me pictures of my loved one doing crafts and things, sitting outside, interacting with other residents. Which is great because where my loved one came from before, they had her just sitting around without much stimulation. She seems comfortable at Elmcroft.

My mother in law has been a resident of Morningside for the past several years. While it was a difficult decision to move her from her home, we could not be more happy with the love, compassion, and care that the every single staff member provides for her. It is easily the cleanest long term care facility I’ve ever been in. They do such a great job of planning events for the residents- there is always something fun going on! When there are difficult decisions to be made, they approach them gently and sensitively. The staff members are always smiling, happy, and take the time to stop in and say hello when we visit. They allow us to bring our dog in to visit (and even give her treats), which many of the residents also seem to enjoy. All of the residents seem very happy and content, which speaks volumes about the care they receive at Morningside. We are so grateful to have this wonderful facility in our community!
