Our mother is very happy here! She has no complaints, and loves the food. The activities have been great too!
My sister recently became a resident at Home of the Good Shepherd, because of some unexpected glitches during her release from the hospital. The people at Home of the Good Shepherd made an enormous effort to stay very late on a Friday and make her admission possible. They were extremely understanding and pro-active to resolve a very problematic situation, supplying everything we needed at very short notice. A special thank to the Assistant Administrator [name removed], and [name removed], as well as everyone else that made this possible. It was an enormous effort, with a happy ending.
Friendly staff and warm inviting facility. Dad is happy there. Quickly brought into a group and activities. Very caring and helpful when dad has had any health concern. Although there were other facilities that we also considered this is the one dad chose. He felt most comfortable with the other residents and staff. He also liked the location and having safe places to walk or enjoy the outdoors.
