These include reminding resident of important activities to be carried out, medication management, supporting a resident’s personal and social needs, and being aware of a resident’s general whereabouts. Staff must obtain training in a number of subjects. These include: supervision, staff training program based on the residents’ service plans, standard precautions, and first-aid.
