Assisted Living
My loved one was previously a resident at Garden View at New Iberia and everything was great for her at this facility! The staff was amazing and always treated us like family. They offered many activities for the residents. The housekeeping and the food were both excellent. The transition in and out were both very smooth for my loved one. I would definitely recommend Garden View at New Iberia to others!
It's very warm and everyone is very caring. It's small, so the occupants get to know each other, and the staff encourage interaction. It's nice. It's like being in your own home. I find the care very good. They're attentive and check on the residents frequently. They contact you if they think there's anything you need to know, so I like that they keep the family involved. They encourage the residents to participate in activities . They have pop-up card games, they go for walks, they have birds nests and plants and vegetables in the back, and some religious gatherings daily. They also have activities to encourage them to move and exercise a little bit. My loved one says the food is delicious. We're very pleased.
Very attentive to the residents. Food is ok. Wish they had more outings that just walmart tours on Fridays. All in all a good place.
