Unfortunately mom was only there a few days as she had a stroke 3 days after moving in and passed a week later. I cannot say enough good things about every aspect of Kanawha Place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for that type of a facility, top-notch in all areas.

With the activities and the meals and dining service, [name removed] wasn't in residence log enough to assess these. Based on the experience we did have with Oak Hill Place, we would recommend them to other families.

Everything has been great. The facility is well maintained, all of the staff, regardless of position has been wonderful. No complaints from this family! Every staff member has my mothers well being at heart, we as a family all agree.

These people went to bat for my FIL when a rehab center was going to kick him out no matter what and it was a weekend. Normally Brookdale doesn't admit on the weekend, but the rehab center got belligerent...
