Memory Care
While driving around Vt. and passing by Valley Terrace Assisted Living I noticed how welcoming the flowers on the balconies were. Time passed and my daughter introduced me to several assisted living facilities. With encouragement from my family I moved into Valley Terrace as it was a small community, there are walking areas and a flower garden. There are many activities both mentally and physically. The nursing staff keeps me from worrying about my health problems which is a BIG plus. Working through the virus challenges we will hopefully return to a normal life and "there will flowers on the balconies once again."
It has been about one year since my siblings and I relocated my mom to The Village at White River JCT. (Memory Care). Of course it was a difficult decision and process, but necessary. The difficulty factor was mitigated some when we met the staff. They were all very welcoming and friendly. From the director to the janitor, it was all smiles and positive. Part way through mom's first year, we wanted to have an update on her health and well being. It took longer to get that meeting than we wanted, but once we finally did, we learned more about the staff's commitment to supporting Ma. I am confident that Ma is safe and well cared for at The Village. I believe we choose the right place...Thank You
Searching for long-term care for loved ones is a daunting task. Our family was fortunate to find the Champlain Valley Senior Community in Willsboro, New York. Our father suffers from dementia and was in need of care that we simply could not provide at home. The folks at Champlain Valley are kind, compassionate and caring, all you can ask for in a facility that is looking after a loved one. The facility is beautiful, clean, peaceful and provides a wonderful view of the Bouquet River. Living out of state, we appreciate the regular updates and communication from staff, keeping us apprised of his condition between visits. Champlain Valley is a gem of the North County.
