Memory Care
We cannot comment on the activities because our loved one did not participate in them. Of course more CNA and care givers is an area of improvement. Of course, I no that at this time it is difficult to hire staff, but at that price staffing should be adequate . We have had to hire additional caregivers to cover her care. The staff is friendly to the residents and family and appear to want to help. Based on our experience we would recommend St. Joseph of the Pines to the families.
I needed a cheaper alternative for Mom as we are running out of money for her MC. The director really cares about the quality of care the residents are receiving. The facility is under new management and they are working hard on updating the facility and getting a great staff in place. I am super happy with the level of care my Mom is receiving.
They have good staff and caregivers here. The care my loved one is receiving is great! The staff truly care about my loved one and for their health and this is important to the family. There are somethings that can be frustrating as they don't have enough staff to man the secure door to let you in to visit your loved one. The visitor is left waiting at the door, until a staff member comes to the door. There is a delay in leaving the community, as the staff must let the visitor out the front door. There are three meals a day served to the residents here.
