The Director’s style is positive, concerned and responsive; His leadership and responsiveness to family concerns is reflected in similar attitudes by the entire community. The aides in the Reminisces memory unit deliver conscientious, consistently good care of our mother.
I think the biggest negative we have is was they are supposed to wash the clothing Tuesdays and Thursdays and that is not always happening. Sometimes she walks around with other peoples clothing. Aside from that it has been a pretty good experience. All of the staff are very polite and the facility is clean. Most of the aids are good. I would recommend Village Walk to anybody else looking.
My loved one was only here for 3 short weeks. During the time here, the staff were wonderful. They went above and beyond for my mother and were very attentive to her needs. The facility was brand new so they were still learning and just getting started. There were not many activities going on while she was here, but by the time we were leaving they had added a lot of new programs. It was overall a positive experience.
