Memory Care
I can say that everything was done to accommodate my mother's comfort and state of health. She improved so much, in fact, that she "graduated" out of The Birches and was able to move into an assisted living facility after 4 months.
The nursing staff are friendly and attentive. Always willing to work with you to solve a problem. The dining room wait staff are also friendly and try to remember everyone's name and their favorite food or drink. The front staff are cheerful and helpful and get to know the residents. Zack, the finance manager works above and beyond to help with long term insurance claims and making contracts correct. The salon lady is familiar with all her regulars and is extremely flexible. There's really no one who stands out as being difficult to work with.
I think it is a very safe and welcoming place for our moms and dads and grandparents and other loved ones who are in a situation where there aren't a lot of options. I think the size of Peabody Home makes it an ideal situation because it's not so huge, it's more family like. Everybody I've talked to thinks very highly of the Peabody Home and we didn't know that going in. They were the only place that was even interested in talking to us, and the were so accommodating they came to the home and dropped off the paperwork and application and spoke with us, and helped make it less stressful for us. They were very helpful on their end in helping us make sure that we had everything we needed for our legal paperwork. I don't think enough people know about them. They are close with the community as well, they have an incredible crew of volunteers that come in everyday.
