Sunshine Manor in Placerville, CA
4.4

We chose Sunshine Manor because a friend of ours had a previous good experience with them and it was A Place for Mom suggestion. It compared favorably to other communities in the area. They had immediate availability. It is a very pleasant community. They are really good with letting the residents decorate their rooms the way they want they can pretty much do anything to it to make it feel like their own home.

The Villa in Auburn, CA
5.0

Our loved one has only been here a short time, but I think they're doing a great job at The Villa! The facility it beautiful, and they always keep everything looking clean and well kept. It is a smaller facility, with about 20 residents max, and they take great care of everyone. The staff is friendly and professional, and they're all very attentive to the needs of the residents. I would highly recommend them!

Eskaton Village Placerville

My dad lived in the Memory Care facility and my mom currently lives in Independent Living in the Cottages. The whole property is spotless! The staff are so nice and attentive. The food is great! Lots of activities for all levels. The value is really good. Nice spacious living, restaurant-style meals, beautiful surroundings. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants to live in the El Dorado County area!

It was a positive experience overall, in spite of Mom's very challenging mental and physical condition. Good communication, nice atmosphere, visually appealing, good location.
