Recent reviews of Memory Care in Bakersfield, CA
The Pointe at Summit Hills in Bakersfield, CA
4.9 / 5.0

The Pointe at Summit Hills is the perfect fit for my Mom. I was very impressed with every staff member I met during my 2 visits prior to deciding to place my Mom here. From the front desk staff, to the servers, and even the groundskeeper and maintenance guy… they ALL knew the residents names and something about each one of them, and the residents in return knew the staff personally. Mom needed to feel like this was HER HOME, and from day one she was welcomed and comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better care or atmosphere!

Ivy Park at Seven Oaks in Bakersfield, CA
4.3 / 5.0

The atmosphere is very pleasant and cheerful. Many other places are depressing and The Villages at Seven Oaks is cheery and clean and smells good. It is a good value for the money. We have peace of mind that he is getting good care. We are bringing in hospice to give a little extra help. We are very comfortable with them. There have been a few times where they have not been as timely with returning phone calls and there have been a few frustrations but overall we are happy. I like that the memory care has it's own side. It is very easy to visit.

Brookdale Riverwalk in Bakersfield, CA
4.8 / 5.0

I think Brookdale is the best place in Bakersfield. I visited every community here and I chose Brookdale because I had more room, they provided the meals in restaurant style with options and after I evaluated them all and Brookdale was better by far. Before COVID, activities here were very good and I like that they offer physical therapy on site. But right now the entire building is in quarantine.
