Memory Care
My parents have been here almost a year. The staff and owner are friendly and have genuine concern for the residents. They get to know the residents, so when something is not right (mentally/physically) they know and can address it quickly. It’s never easy for a person to transition from independent living to having to have help and live by a different set of rules but the folks at Homeland work day-in and day-out to make that transition as easy as possible. We have had a few issues here and there, but when brought to the owner’s attention, they were handled quickly, professionally and to our complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Homeland to anyone seeking assisted living for their loved ones.
My mother-in-law is just loving it here. She has a nice sized two bedroom with a kitchenette and she had plenty of room for most of her stuff and so she feels right at home. The staff has been great in helping her settle in. She hasn't done too many of the activities, but she loves going on the field trips the shopping and getting to eat out. She also likes going to the dining room with the other residents and likes visiting. The community is beautiful has a nice courtyard and we feel that we made the right choice.
I'm doing well in this community. I like it very much here. I picked them because it was the best deal with the most inclusive. I have a garden room with 3 meals a day. I'm not really big on activities but I do attend some the activities they offer. The meals are pretty good. The staff are very helpful.
