My experience with Alderwood Court has been good. The staff there is wonderful. They've been very helpful from the very beginning. The facility is in a great location, close to restaurants and shopping centers. It's very new looking, and kept really clean. In the apartment, it's really safe and secure. They explained to her how everything works. They also helped my mom find other resources as well. Overall, very impressed.
The facility is located in a good location for transportation, shopping, health care and schools. The staff is helpful, friendly, welcoming, and the facility is well maintained, and they offer great amenities. I like my one bedroom, it's quite spacious. The bathroom is a nice size. The bedroom, kitchen and living room is just right for me. I haven't viewed a 2 bedroom because it's not what I was interested in. However, I've seen another 1 bedroom unit here which may be a different sq footage from mine because it looks a lot more spacious. I could be wrong. This one was an end unit.
They have plenty of amenities available, including a computer room with computers for you to use. They also have, a workout room, pool, spa, game room, a TV lounge, and a social lounge. In addition, there is a beauty shop on the premises, which is reasonably priced. I don't know what more you could ask for in a 55 and over complex.
