- change in staff w/o notify family, but new staff are skilled, courteous and kind to my mom - poor communication among nursing staff (NPs - Nurse- Medtech) It's been 9 mos and the PCPs & NO had a change - I still haven't met the second NO assisted by the PCP. The different shift nurses aren't kept within the loop. Mom feel and went to hospital, was discharged and I was surprised the shifts didn't know about her fall. Also mom was acting out of character, I had to tell the NO and she also didn't know about it (she was on vacation) until a week later and then was put on an antibiotic (no urine collected) but could have had a UTI which is why she was acting out. She is much better. If I didn't go see my mom 2-4 times a week. I wouldn't know. I still rate the facility a 5 because the caregiving staff and director is kin and works with me when I do have an issue. Mom likes the place

The staff is attentive and kind to residents. They keep residents clean and are proactive with health concerns. The smaller size of the facility allows for customization and individualization of care. Communication with family about activities could be improve on.

The Pinemont Apartments in Houston, TX
5.0

I'm commenting in regards to the 2 reviews that were on this page but I can't see them right now My experience is the people here at the Pinemont Apartments office are friendly, very helpful and answer all your questions. In fact the first person I've talked to when I filled out my application to live here was the most respectful and helpful person ( name [name removed]....), I've ever encountered in all my years of living in apartments, condominiums, Etc, and I mean respectful. I wasn't just another customer or body coming to live in a complex. She was attentive to all my questions and was ready to help make my application process and residence here Pleasant and comfortable. Your ALWAYS notified in Flyers that are put on your door about upcoming events like bingo in the event hall or food to eat on a special day, or the "Annual" Building inspections done by building# with day and date (no surprise inspections). And Pest Control with building#, floor#, and date.
