The only thing that is difficult is that my mom can't see that well and the ovens are geared for handicapped people and it's digital and she can't read the numbers. Lot's of activities. Woodlea is HUD senior independent housing, thus the rent is 30% of adjusted income plus electric, which is all utilities. It is a 6 floor building with 100 one bedroom 500 sq. ft. apartments. It is located in Pikes Creek; a nice area outside of the city. The building is well managed and clean. Two meals are available daily at a very reasonable cost but all other personal services come from private arrangements and are not provided in-house. There is a wait list that seems to run about ten to twelve months.
The staff and the executive director are phenomenal and have the care of our loved ones as their top priority. They have assisted with social security Medicare filing and have gone above and beyond expectations at this point.
