My Mom and our family love Canoe Brook Broken Arrow. We looked at many places before moving Mom to assisted living four years ago. Mom feels so safe, and she is well looked after. All of the staff is so good to Mom, and are always willing to answer any question I may have. I feel as if they are our extended family. They all go way above their job description. We all work as a team to make sure Mom is well taken care of. When Mom was in the hospital several months ago, she kept asking "when do I get to go home"? That is how she feels about Canoe Brook Broken Arrow, it is her home. The Activity Director has taken Mom to several appoints, and will reschedule any follow up appointments. This is a big help, since Mom has problems getting in and out of our vehicles. The gentlemen who signs on new families was our first point of contact and he was so diligent with us. He called us at least once a week to check on us and our loved ones and just to make sure he was staying on top of everything. Every time we come to visit the staff are just so friendly and welcoming and they know exactly who we are visiting. They always check on our loved one, and even when our mother had to go to the hospital they gave us their personal numbers so we could keep them updated on the situation. Our loved ones absolutely enjoy the meals and dining service, they love the food. They do offer a ton of activities, now sometimes they do have to cancel them often but what does stay on the schedule our loved ones really plug into.
