5 for everything except dining/meals because city view doesn't provide that service. Overall, my mother in laws experience has been great. The apartment is very nice, it is very affordable and the people who work at this complex are very nice. We are still so grateful for your help in finding a nice place for her to live
My dad had a sharp decline in health and suddenly could not live independently. I was scrambling to find an assisted living place for him. LakeHouse was a perfect fit! Even though he was only there for a little while until his passing, the staff was always friendly with him, and he was happy with their help. The executive director kept in contact with me, even late at night, to keep me informed about anything that may have happened: falls, eating habits, bathroom accidents, medication needs, she was also kind of a liason for the visiting doctor and helped keep me in the loop about medical needs. My experience with LakeHouse was short, but I am glad I found them and they could help my dad feel welcome in a great time of need.
I recently moved into Hope Woods, after a year looking at other senior living options in Kalamazoo. Hope Woods met all my criteria for my next living arrangements. It is centrally located and easy to access. It is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. There are many activities, and everyone has been very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a good value compared to other places I researched. I definitely would recommend Hope Woods to seniors or families looking for a safe, clean, friendly environment.
