My love one is doing fine since her move to this community. We have not had any problems, or concerns. We do feel she is safe, and in good hands. They have a kind, friendly staff. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. Everything is going well, and this is probably would be a community we would recommend.
We found a home for Mom in a great place with people who are just like family
We went looking for an Assisted Living Facility for Mom and chose Irving Point . We wanted her to stay as independent as possible but give the family peace of mind. Mom still cooks, does her own laundry and cleans her own apt. She still drives (for now) and that makes her feel very independent as she can take herself to the grocery store, doctor appts and getting her hair done. We like that meals are offered, although she usually only goes down for one & not both. She complains a lot about the meal and how they are not very good and size wise are very small. I think she goes more for the socializing which is great. She loves bingo and recently they started having church again. She enjoys that. Mom has learned everyone’s name there and has a couple ladies who she is very fond of. The nursing staff and Irving Point staff have been wonderful with her. I feel like Mom has finally settled in and is very happy there. Which makes us very happy.
