The communication needs improvement as it is difficult to get accurate information on our family member. It seems very challenging to get answers to our questions - we can't get a bill, find out easily when certain things are scheduled like showers and when she had the last one, or when laundry is done or whether she ate her meals. Also I would recommend a system of wearable alarms that have fall detection if someone falls and isn't able to press their call button. It would also be helpful if check ins could be scheduled for folks who need some regular assistance with toileting.
I have lived at The Retreat ever since they have opened. I have a third floor apartment on a corner and gives me a great View of the pool of the lake and the Beautiful grounds around me. I can give the retreat nothing but a five star rating as I plan to live here for the rest of my life. The management staff is very helpful and very very friendly. I moved here so I would not have any maintenance problems or anything that I would have to take care of myself. The maintenance staff consisting of [name removed] and [name removed] are not only efficient in there were but are so friendly and willing to help all of us residents that live here. The apartments are very soundproof and the grounds are very well kept up. If you're looking for a well maintain and friendly staff and atmosphere take a tour of the retreat and you will see that it's one of the finest around the area.
I'VE ENJOYED LIVING AT THE LANDINGS FOR 18 YEARS NOW!! I'M A VERY HAPPY CAMPER, WITH NO INTENTION OF EVER MOVING! WE HAVE GONE THROUGH A MAJOR RENOVATION FROM ROOF ON DOWN. LOOKS GREAT! CHEERY DECOR, A NEW MOVIE THEATER, LIBRARY/ LOUNGE, NEW VAN TAKES US TO THREE MAIN AREAS TO SHOP 'TIL WE DROP! ALSO RIDES TO DOCTORS $5.00 ROUND TRIP IF CLOSE BY AND $10. IF A LITTLE FURTHER OUT. WE HAVE [name removed], OUR TENANT LIAISON EXTRAORDINAIRE....IF ANYONE NEEDS HELP IN ANY AREA, SHE CAN GET YOUR QUESTIONS TAKEN CARE OF ASAP!
